There you have it at 07:46 "work offline", so please consider adding an offline mode to the UA-cam app to enable us to cash selective videos into the external SD Card to watch later.
This presentation is in three parts (each with an interstitial video that can be found as follows): Invisibility: 5:49 Efficiency: 16:43 Reliability: 46:50
Invisibility 5:49: I found it boring, obvious things like check features the device has, do not fail if missing connection: queue, still.. good suggestions Efficiency 16:43: Don't drain battery power, don't download too much data.. good talk, but I think it could have been made in 15 minutes (half time) a little redundant Reliability 46:50: test... obvious things, boring again, makes sense, but didn't need someone to tell me :) my opinion anyway ;)
Amazing nobody asked how to handle the queue and the fact the your app may be closed by the user before sending your batch operations or the phone may go out of battery power and shut down before doing that. You have to manage that too, and that means having a queue in the database and comes with a lot more of complicated things. I know I should follow this kind of suggestions but the framework should help us do that, not tell us "do it" and then leave us alone :) isn't it?
I'm really surprised a lot of these tips are considered for "experts" because they're so essential for any programmer.

Thumb up if you too have followed the orange sticky dot moving from Reto's hips to arm back and forth during the whole session.
I can't post a link here, but Reto has published links to his slides on his Google+ stream (+Reto Meier).
Where are the slides? There's been more than 24 hrs but I can't find them, can you please share a link? Thanks :)
It would have been awesome if on google reader it would follow this advice to prefetch some more articles
