Funny thing is, the Tiger 131 is inaccurately modeled in game. In game the turret’s hatch is the one found on later model Tigers, while the real life 131 is the early model turret with a much taller hatch. War Thunder players will know exactly what I’m talking about.
The in game is the E variant while the real life is the H1 variant

Very surprised at tier 8 to see the Centurion. Very playable and versatile on all maps. At tier 8 I'd nominate the AMX CDC. Massive target with no armour and a not very damaging gun.... So what if it's fast? The only premium I've ever bought and sold out of frustration..... Replaced it with M4 Revaloise, great gun and capable of bouncing some shots.
Imo defender mk.1 is better the cent 5/1

Only speaking from those I've owned. Hate playing against the Defender Mk1, they're not a balanced tank. Too OP.
I go 70% in the 5/1, I think the only reason I’d tell players not to buy it would be because you could probably get it for free at some point

Ground out the Cent when they had the event, no regrets. It's fast, tough and has a great rate of fire. More damage per shot and this tank would be awesome. And I also think it has a classic look for a tank. Not old and boxy, but not science fiction like in appearance either.
Sad that the hull armor on the 131 is worse than the tech tree tiger 1
A bit surprising for some of those tanks but I think a LOT of it has to do with players who simply don't know how to play these tanks. WZ is a tough play agreed.
The Centurion 5/1 WAS a great tank, the problem is they nerfed it's armor and is now penned more often in the upper plate and turret
Armor never got nerfed and the armor is still great. Put in a hulldown situation where you bounce on the turret and farm. Still one of the best tier 8s in the game, you just gotta be good player to understand it.

i enjoyed the wz5a before 10.3, but now the front armour was nerfed to the point where any medium can pen your front with standard, not being able to bounce anyone has killed its former play style imo
love the FV201 and the Cent 5/1... both are great tank and I love the 131... sad that the numbers are never wrong...
I still use Tiger 131 even though it's considered the worst and most hated tank. I'm a big fan of the Tiger tank, especially the real-life Tiger 131, despite it sometimes being the most hated and frustrating tank. Haha. 😆
well doesn't mean it can't be fun to play especially if you don't care to much about a tanks performance and skill allows you to still do good or decent in bad tanks
55A is a German modification of the t54 but wg put it in the hybrids nation which still trigger me to this day other them that the 55a isnt really that bad its quite solid only reeason its performing like shit is because of powercrep. Ive been playing 55a recently and its still solid but its age shows woth its penatration of its shells and its armor.
The T-55A is czechoslovakian modification of the T-55A. Was used by most of the Eastern block during the cold War. ( including East Germany ) but I think wg made it hybrid Nation because East Germany isn't in the game . Its not solid logic but I not sure why else.
So it appears that players have more winrate in the T25 Pilot than in the Centurion RAAC ? Weird
I'm at 57% and 61% in the Defender mk1 and the RAAC, very strong vehicles.
The trouble with premium tanks is that anyone can buy them and ruin top tier games!!! Wargaming matchmaking never helps too....I was told by wargaming that I wasn't able to get into a tier 3 game because I have over 80k battles to my name( I was trying to play a premium birthday tank( gave up waiting 1 hour later)) however how comes my team get a player with 106 battles to their name when it's playing a kpz70 in a tier 9 game yesterday? Answer is money...wargaming would not reply to my question about is their any point of experienced players by low tier premium tanks, I also asked are they knowingly selling tanks that will struggle to get into battles if you're an experienced player too......I was totally ignored

Just open up a BRAND NEW account, using a different E-Mail address & call-sign.
Then : Just ONLY play "Special Modes" like "Big Boss" or "Uprising" when using Tier.6 & above
That way, your battle stats REMAIN LOW, giving you chance to play those lower tier tanks
Also, that way W.G cannot 'discriminate' against you...
I have no idea what "Stats" you are looking at, but I randomly pulled up 5 other tier 8 med premiums on tank compare and they ALL had worse average WR than the Cent 5/1. Frankly that is my favorite tier 8 med and one of my favorite tanks in the whole game. "Do not buy" is bat chit crazy.
MK1 is big, and its camo rating is low. The gun sings though it wont matter if u r the shell magnet all the time. It plays like a supersize Cromwell for me.

Thing is, it’s a high min skill / high skill ceiling tank. You have to understand hull down, positioning, how to peek effectively, etc., to get the best out of this tank. If you can play it, it’s one of the best tier 8 meds… but the stats are reflecting all the folk who hear it’s good but have no idea about the finer points of the game.
Meads even said that he didn’t agree but… yeah, the stats say its performance is lacking.

5A is average but I believe its armor is what destroyed it, maybe a mobility boost could balance it with reload speed
T55 is amazing and underrated, I don't see many of them though so maybe just low ownership numbers
Centurion 5a is amazing, likely because newbies sit in the open and try to shoot
Fv201 is bad and has a noob problem it's good for bad players who sit in the open and shoot but most noobs and bad players own it
Tiger 131 is worse than kuromorimine which is. Eat version, 131 has highest credit earning of it though. If you're gonna play a tiger play kuro or even icebreaker for cooler looks but all of the tigers at tier 6 are good overall if you're skilled you'll absolutely crush if you're top tier
Cent is good tank. In current meta isn't easy to use. FV201 is meeh. I never had any issues with dealing that tank. Tiger 131 is bad VK36.01 in tiger skin.
VK 36.01 isn't a bad tank though. For a while it was better than the Tiger I.
The Centurion 5/1 and FV201 are rapid shooters, and they are far more difficult to play for inexperienced players. Such players typically don't find positions to constantly shoot, so the DPM advantage of such tanks is nullified. Whereas in a Lycan at tier 7 they would hit for 400, the FV is a lamentable 160. Same at tier 8 with the Centurion, where there's so many more user friendly tanks like the Lowe, T54E2 and T34. The Tiger 131 is a victim of it offered quite cheap at 1500 gold while experienced players at that tier would prefer things like the Cromwell.
Rather than repeating three times that you're surprised or you like the tank or any other point, try an explore or consider why the stats suggest something. It would make for far more interesting videos.

Where did you get the data from? Cent mK5/1 has a 56% average wr, there are tanks that are much worse overall in terms of stats, Patton 59, amx cdc and type 59 to name a few.
Anyway, I just bought a concept 1B for 20k gold and then got extra WZ111-5A and chi nu kai from the crates
Notwithstanding the use of data, there are other factors that may also influence tank statistics. For example, what if it is a vehicle that is especially popular with new players or 40%ers? Even if it is a good tank, those players may not know how to play it correctly and that in itself may skew the stats. As we know, good players aren't the only ones with gold / money to spend.
the winrate stats come in 3 ranks and its showing if people perform better or worse than the average winrate of the group they are in so if a bad player does like 47 or even 49% on a tank it gets ranked pretty high for them while bad tanks have winrates of 30% for that group
The fv201 is like a black prince without hull armor.
Meadsy I wonder if WG counts the bots of the Tiger131 they use in battles, and the reason Dribbles is upset is because that other channel is getting more views than him. The Centurion surprised me, but this is why they need to not allow new players to purchase certain Premium Tanks until a certain level, because they go out play it, don't know how to play it, and FOCH up your matches. The centurion mk 5/1 is one of the top 5 mediums in my opinion and I have like a 65% win rate with it. Crazy to see it’s one of the worst performing tanks
What would be the "best" tier6 heavy premium ? I was considering the Tiger131, for warm up before playing upper tiers.
Churchill Mk VI or MkVIII, or the Magnus. They have highest 90 day Blitzstars WR, at least..

Cent has 57% wr at t8 mediums which is higher than even the Prog 46's 55% wr, THATS the FACT, whoever said its bad based on opinion or "supposed facts" is smoking bad stuff thats poisonous.

Centurion was a free tank if you played enough so alot of new not so experienced player got it and that's why we see the bad performance
All these tanks are bad, it doesn't mean you can't enjoy them but it is undeniable that they are weak, something you should consider before buying them. At least the T55A is getting buffed next patch, a nice armor buff is incoming. The 5/1 probably suffers from popularity, new players buy it because of the armor and they don't know how to use it. The FV201 is too slow and has no armor, one of the 2 needs to get a small buff. The 131 is a shell of the past, better play the VK 36.00, sadly it is a "real life representation" of the Tiger at the UK museum so it might not see changes.
5/1 is definitely not a bad tank. Sometimes statistics don’t show you the truth. With majority of players in Blitz being 40%? That tank requires some skill to connect as many shots you can. Because it has low alpha. But there are worse premiums in that tier.
I'm glad Meadsy agrees that droodles attacks people for having different opinions. I commented that and got attacked by the droodle noodle squad. Cent 5/1 is a good tank imo.
Droodles is definitely not as good as Bushka, Martin Dogger, Pantouflee , or LittleFinger. Measdy is one of the last originals UA-camr, good for him to defend Sweatchman.

But may I ask where you got stats showing the Centurion 5/1 RAAC is worst Prem in Tier 8? Blitzstars 90 day shows it as one of the best (57% WR! as of 1/1/24) Blitzstars show T25 1st Prot and Nebulon as the worst Premiums (WR 46 and 47% resptvly). Did you mis-read? Sorry to be a pain! Blitz analysis, it goes by updates. 10.3 it was the worst, 10.4 it's actually one of the best performing tier 8s

Hola el tanque es uno de los mejores, pero lo juega mucha gente y lo juegan mal, lo mismo pasa con otros tanques, las estadisticas no explican eso, hay personas que se compran un tanque, por que ven videos donde un tipo gana la batalla y se lleva todos los premios, y piensan que es el tanque lo que gana y no el jugador.

You kinda missed the point about Droodles calling out that channel tho, he criticized that channel because that channel is pumping out mass-produce, lazy content with AI voice script reading and clickbaiting thumbnail and titles, the video Droodles used only as an example to show how lazy that channel is, not because whether or not the information in the video is correct or false.

If you have an opinion about what tanks are useful and what tanks are not, why not just present your own opinions and ignore the stats (which, as we can tell, are completely meaningless anyways)? Warthunder mobile and TankCompany have been out for a while, and have so much better graphics, armor, physiscs, and are a better experience than this money shredder, I retired from WoTB in early 2020, and moved to TC, then to WTM and haven't looked back
