I just finished all the steps! I would want the rod so I could start getting into competitive fishing at 15 years old. Id use it for swim baits and Alabama rigs to catch megabass! I have started fishing. Few months ago and to be honest I don’t catch that many despite me watching so many videos about bass fishing trying to learn and catch them. I have caught a few but I usually get skunked a lot and having one of these rods will be great for me because I can get to use it for a long time and will help me become a better fisherman. Im 12 and would love this rod because I’m getting into boat fishing and just put together my first John boat and need to up my inventory cause I only have one spinning set up and one Walmart bait caster. I would use it for pretty much everything hopefully to catch giant blue gills.😂

The reason I want a rod is because I got a reel, and I was hoping to use it for a solid flipping and jig fishing rod. Jig fishing is sort of new to me and flipping is basically all I do because that's almost all you can use on the Ohio River. The Ohio river is really tough. The fish almost never bite and when they do bite is either really small or really big.

In one of your videos I saw that you were using that exact rod and I thought to myself what it was. After watching the video in slow motion multiple times, I saw the brand name halo. I immediately went to google and searched up halo rods and found one I liked, for a few months I’ve been doing yard work and saving up for a halo rod but I still haven’t decided which one I want. I would really love this rod. I'd say I'm relatively new to fishing. The issue is I am a broke college student and don't have to money to put towards gear. Fishing has been a great way to relieve the stresses of school, internships, etc.

I live in Arizona so bass fishing is not really the biggest so im the only person Ive met that does it but getting a better rod would be huge because I would be able to have more variety so I could connect with other people better and actually be able to drive to the lakes and go fishing without just one rod lol.
