      I totally get where you're coming from. But you know what? It's all part of the journey. Failing doesn't mean you're not smart-it just means there's more to learn and grow from. Just keep pushing forward, stay positive, and trust in your abilities. You've got this! 😊

      @@k-lovers8400 You can deffinently do it you just gotta study really hard, but by most means dont set your standards so high, the far fewest of people actually manages to become an actuary at just the age of 24. But dont worry theres no need to rush it.

      I totally get how you're feeling right now. It's completely normal to be scared after a setback, but remember, in the actuarial world, it's all about learning and growing. That one failure doesn't define your future success. Use it as a stepping stone to become even better. Just keep pushing forward, stay focused, and take each exam as a learning opportunity. You got this! 📚💪

    If it is so hard, and doesnt pay as much as equally if not less hard like medical or banking, whats the attraction. Would it not be better to become a medic or investment banker? What makes the actuary so exciting vs those jobs that its worth so much wasted time resitting exams?

    • @EtchedActuarial
      @EtchedActuarial 3 місяці тому +2

      Many find the field exciting due to the unique blend of math, statistics, and business involved. Actuaries often enjoy solving complex problems, assessing risks, and making a significant impact on financial decision-making. If you love numbers and critical thinking, actuarial science can be very rewarding despite the tough exams. It's all about finding what you’re passionate about and what fits your skills best.

      @@EtchedActuarial maybe right. Still, seems an easier life to get paid a fortune for swapping out old knees for artificial ones. And be nice to make peoples lives better while at it. Tricky one! Find your passion as you say!!
