Still got my MK1 chopper , dad got it me in 1969 for my tenth birthday , wasn't many sold ,MK2 was the big seller ,they didn't come out till about 1973 , told mines worth a good few quid , but wouldn't sell for anything .

I'm old enough to remember when this was the boating pool. Always spent one afternoon of our week with my mum and dad there in the 1950s.
Good afternoon Biker...sad to see the old boating lake from what it was to what it is now concrete & rubber....Remember as a kid the place was heaving once the tide came in & was a suntrap & like you used to go crabing...take it easy biker 👍

Afternoon that’s the very first time I’ve seen go carts on there I’ve walked passed that many times and nothin on it really nice to see OMG!!!! That seat! On trek i would feel bruised sittin on that 😂😂duna know what it’s doin to you and yer bits 😂 😂 yea good old choppers they don’t make um like that any more well yer know what it is ave a crackin afternoon yerself till the next one 😊
