Conejo is a definitely a legend,King lil g been in the game for more than 20 years though big dog, he rolled with heavy hitters back in the day in the double SS. He’s put in his work in the rap game. He’s not the little homie coming up. I would pick conejo over lil g any day he’s more of a hood legend but lil g hit more mainstream than conejo and got more recognition too.

As a black guy I never really grew up listening to chicano rap yet I have heard a few rappers in the community that are really known as I have friends who’re Mexican that play their stuff a lot. Friends were always playing King Lil G and whenever I was at their house they would always play his videos on UA-cam as I think he’s one of the best I heard for quite some time now. There’s a lot of rappers who’re black who be saying they the best which is something many will do and I don’t think it’s wrong of King Lil G saying he’s the best as he has put in work throughout his career, and I don’t bang or anything yet when I see someone not only about the grind but showing their potential of their talent is what I like seeing. Props to G coming a long way
Love it or hate it. Kid frost was one of the pioneers in the chicano rap game and was dropping good music, the whole eastside story album was lit. He also made the soundtrack hit "aint no sunshine" ppl got smutt on frost but besides that frost was one of the first ones to come up. I didnt hear about conejo til like 2000
