Easiest way I've found for myself playing solo , grab the helicopter , fly to the outer edge of the radiation zone. Snipe everyone until the chemist shows up. Steal their gas mask. Keep sniping until the chemist is dead. Jump back into the helicopter. Fly to exil. Call exil. Fly around in the helicopter to avoid enemy ambush. Jump out and exil.

I just started dmz again like 2 weeks ago well I ran into the chemist last night for the first time and killed him amd searched the supply crate frm killing him and got too excited cuz it had a building 21 key so I got it snd ran to exfil because I wanna see or play building 21,I got killed as I was running to exfil by sweats, so my question is what was I supposed to do to get this gun
This felt like the most easy thing in the world, but the luck was absolutely perfect- every time I have tried to kill him it has gone something like this: spawn in, get in an instant fight with bots trying to get to a car, barely escape , spend 10 minutes scrounging for items to sell as the game knows you need money and withholds it, find a buy station, fight another huge wave of bots guarding the station and barely escape, arrive at the radiation zone, chemist refuses to appear at all or hides , get angry and run in looking for him, die!
Same for me except I usually kill the chemist get his gun run out of the gas 1 tap because of radioactivity the die to a no plate bastard of a ai. I’m so tilted rn I want this damn gun so bad for some reason
This worked for me: I dropped in with only an M4, but you should bring a 50 cal sniper. Go to the edge of the radiation zone. Assault the AI who are on the inside closest to you. Once you begin the assault, they’ll rush to the edge. Retreat when you need to re- armor and get back to the assault. Eventually the chemist will show up, snipe him a few times until he drops. Grab it and get out. Being on the edge is helpful asf because it’s easier to get away. Once you get away, find a truck. Find an exfil not deep in the city and avoid the inner city if possible (rural areas are ideal) Once you get to an exfil, get tf outta there. Watch out for sweaty players (they like to stalk exfil areas sometimes). Also, going deep into the radiation zone means bullets coming at you from all directions, staying on the edge means bullets only coming at you from one direction. Pick your battles wisely. If you’re able to get to exfil without having to engage any AI, consider that a major win.
I geared up with 3 plate armour and an air strike. Took the chemist out with air strike and his buddies today. Once I got the weapon, they were still lots of AI knocking about. Had this weapon three times in my hand only to die!!! So glad I did it as a solo!!
I like to loot a nearby hospital first to get some self-revives and then go to ammo depo for gearing up quickly. It's a piece of cake with a sniper, picking up the M13 is a bit hard though as the AQ goes crazy after we take out the chemist
@@TheSpazooofor me the hardest part is getting out of the gas after getting the gun. I always get downed by a level 1 ai as soon as I get out I still don’t have the gun
Idk about the ddos. I was driving right into the hornets nest about to ram the chemist soon as I get a few feet from hitting him car gets disabled and I get some ddos saying car disabled
@@bennysmall2563 | Picolas Cage means AFTER you kill the Chemist. Infinity Ward made it so you can't just ram the Chemist with a car without getting DDOS'd. But, from what the comment said, it seems like you should be able to drive in and out once the Chemist is dead
One thing I'd recommend is to not use a thermal scope on the sniper when going for the chemist. The radiation makes it hard to see any enemies through it. Tried using a sniper blueprint which came with the thermal scope.
@Joseph Stewart I do think it depends on which thermal scope. Originally when I posted this it was using a blueprint with a black and white thermal. Now I use the orange thermal which gives the option not to use it as well. Highly recommend, especially for ashika island.
Yo, did they make the Chemist more aggressive?? I've run quite a few solo to fill my contra with them, to take as secondaries to my insured sniper. I ran one last night and after the first shot on him, him and his guards flat-out charged me, from a good 100-120m away, all the way up to me at the edge of the zone. Have they always done that? I've never had it happen in the dozen or so grabs I've made.
I've already got the M13 but I need to kill a Commander and I'm thinking this might be an easier option than taking on a Jug or waiting for the attack helicopter.
First time I ever got my hands on the gun was the worst - had a 6 man squad thanks to lots of lucky joins, raided the zone, killed him, and the extraction spot was utterly infested with high armoured bots who wasted 5/6 of the team and killed me off when I was literally one step away from the extraction chopper... The worst of the worst
Does the chemist respawn if another team kills him? I went in the gas and never heard the notification but I was still able to kill him. But he didn’t have the m13b so not sure if my match was bugged or if he does respawn
I just get a bunch of radiation blockers instead of gas masks since they're pretty common in washrooms and they last 2 minutes, so I just take one, use a spotter scope to find the chemist, stun him, thermite him then shoot at him with whatever I have
I died at the exfil last night with it. Lol I’ve killed him now 4 times but didn’t exfil. But what about spawning with sniper and get a few gas masks and can u buy 3 plate vest. That’s what I find the hardest to find. Then exfil or heading there I died. Love the vids. Lol it’s becoming personal for me with this gun now

When people are exfilling I try and leave them to go. Feel bad they spent 20mins plus looting and gathering things to be killed at the final minutes of their game. Just wish people would do the same just once. It's the only gun I need gold in the assault rifle category.
I started by getting the ai’s attention and then putting down a sentry gun on the perimeter of the radiation. Once the ai was focused on that I flanked them from the side.
I literally just solo killed the chemist by luck. I found a bomb drone while running around looting and hopped on an ATV . Chemist was in a tent area on the map near some sand hills. I lurked around the sand until I spotted him [well out of distance]. I ran the drone directly to him and insta-kill him and guards. I had stims/muni box but no gas masks. I ran ATV as fast and as close as I could and grabbed M13B. I ran out of zone while using stim. I had no plates because of other bots drilling me. I found an extract point about 500m from where I was, but no ride near me. I stayed well out of populated areas I knew would be a problem until i found a cargo truck. I took truck near exfil, and I noticed ppl talking in prox chat. I activated exfil and hid in some bushes until chopper landed. I ran to chopper and started getting drilled by the other operators in the area. They knocked me as soon as I got in chopper. Chopper took off while my life was draining [I had no revives], and the game faded to back and my score started counting down on screen. 😂 I was so stressed out the whole time 😅
I just soloed the chemist and the way I did it was by waiting till the radiation zone was in a building area and I just went to the building and camped down until all the enemy forces went in and died before it was down to the chemist then I hit him with 2 mags from a kastov I picked up then got the gun and a fresh gas mask and ran the opposite direction of any last few AI and got a vehicle and exfill’d

He only seems to appear for streamers - for regular players he's well hidden behind a wall of ultra tough bots so you have no choice but to engage inside the zone.

There's another bundle that has it, that came out the same day as the reloaded update as well. I got lucky on Friday and pulled off killing the chemist with the same sniper, in the same place, and managed to get it exfilled, after about a week of trying every night after work. I told myself I was going to try through the double xp event, and if I hadn't unlocked it by then, that I would buy the bundle. I'm really liking the m13 blueprint in the Klause bundle too, which is nice since I'm going to be buying that bundle for the operator anyway.
Also turn off crossplay if your on ps4/ps5 it’s way way way more laid back.I hardly ever see anyone when I’m sniping the chemist.I’m like you I get a thrill out of killing him idk why
lol i have 11 hazardous rifles.... yes you can save more than ten.... just keep replacing the contraband rifles with your insured rifle. the chemist's rifle is the best in the game.

After several attempts I managed to get the M13. It was so intense, came at the exfil 2 secs before the gas spreads and the exfils disappear. I want to add that it is very disappointing you only unlock the M13 and the Hazardous blueprint stays only as DMZ contraband. It would be way fairer to give us the blueprint usable throughout all modes. Since the task of getting the gun took some effort. Especially solo! So please Activision, in a future update give the M13 blueprint to the players that extracted with it. 🙏

No blueprint its not even worth it.....I just sit back take aim with my sniper and denied exfil for everyone. I'm just that guy so be very cautious when you exfil

If you wait a second after killing the chemist, the blue guys will disperse. you can also use a vehicle since there is no more ddos.

oh the victus print? i tried it out and its okay when the enemies arent too far, i just bring a spotter scope and a normal sniper

Great guide! First time I went into the zone I just ran around aimlessly and couldn’t find the chemist but the sniper trick worked first try!

That’s a weird bug I know I’ve had games where I get the alert but he didn’t spawn, if a team kills him then no he wouldn’t spawn back
