si sir Raims talaga ay lover ng music at bukas ang isipan sa art 🧡 it's good to catch kung paano ang takbo ng isip nila (mga musicians) tungkol sa kung paano ang discovery or rediscovery ng crafts nila sa bagong media ngayon. Cheers Red and sir Raims!
I don’t know what is being taught now in Music subject at school but what Sir Raims talked about here are very good and interesting discussions points for the subject.
Yung Host naman sana hinayaan nya matapos si Raimund mag saliata or magpaliwanag, sinasabayan nya kasi, ayos lang kung parang nag dedead-air si Raimund, na para bang he was looking for the right word/words hindi naman. Hoping for the better sa Host, sa style ng Hosting nya, lalong lalo na sa future guest nya. Let the guest talk at patapusin nya mag salita, hindi yung nag sasalita pa yungg guest nya eh sasabayan nyo ito. I'm not attacking the host, I don't know him, but I know the OG Raimund Marasigan, he's the reason I watched this interview/podcast, and I want to hear his stories...
Mr. Ollero seems to be a cool dude, with LOADS of input on the subject matter, which I find lacking in other talk show hosts. Perhaps the only downside is that he doesn't know HOW and WHEN to STFU. One News Ph should changed the title to: The Medyo Serious Talk Show with host AND GUEST Red Ollero, and when they do, I'll come back and delete this comment.
Totoo yung mga resurgence ng mga classic bands nung mid 2000s, good example nga dyan ganya ng nabanggit ni Sir Raims is yung Mayonnaise which for the longest time naging viral ulit yung mga gems nila gaya ng Bakit Part2 at Jopay nung mga banda 2022-2023, so nagbigay sa artists ng mga mas maraming gig. Isa rin naobserved ko as a fan ang laki nga ng effect ng Tiktok, so this year I attended Rico Blanco's 4 consecutive gigs for the past 4 months simula nung Rivermaya Reunion Concert nung February, tas sa La Salle Dasma nung March, sa Clark Aurora nung April and this month May sa Makati Circus, one thing na naobserved ko is kahit 2005 pa yung You'll Be Safe Here na kanta, andaming young audience na kabisado yung kanta na hindi pa pinapanganak nung 2005 grabe talaga yung effect ng Tiktok since may mga old clips na nagtrending si Koriks, kaya OPM is prospering dahil yung mga old gems ng mga artist is narerediscover ulit ng younger generations and maraming mga artists na iba ibang genre pero nagkocollab, andaming flavor ng music ngayon napakaswerte namin salamat sa mga OPM legends na katulad nila Sir Raims
matalino to si sir Red e, pero di mo kelangan patunayan yan kay sir Raims. wag mo sana salubungin ng personal experiences mo yung mga sagot ni sir Raims, nag mumukha tuloy na rebuttal yung mga sinasabi mo habang sumasagot Siya sa mga tanong mo. parang nasisira yung momentum nya. try to listen more, stop being over interactive for a moment and surely you'll enjoy it more.
Sino po ba interviewer? 😂😂 Bitin ang feeling. Ganda sana ng interview. I personally was hoping to hear more of Sir Raims doing the talk and sharing his thoughts
Sayang. Maganda sana open-ended question lagi. Mejo sapaw c Sir. Pero, all the best po! 😁🫰
Just let the guest promote his upcoming shows. Let him tell the viewers when the shows are going to be... don't cut him off by saying "everyone knows" because listen, NOT EVERYONE KNOWS. It might be the first time some people have heard that the artist is gonna have an upcoming gig. When you're in the media or in any platform where the public is listening or watching you, NEVER assume they know everything, and don't talk down to them either. Brilliant guest, awesome topic, but I just had to get this off my chest.
2:00 not sure I agree. I always thought that most OPM songs today sound similar. There are a few really creative ones and the rest are just clones of artists that are well-received.
I'm here to hear more about Raims and Eheads, not about Red. Good episode pa rin.
Parang act as if you know the whole interview. Mas madaming salita si Red.
@ComedybyRed awkward na yung guest at sitwasyon dahil sa kakaputak mo. This interview is about Raimund, tama? o eh mas madami pa yun personal opinion mo?
Tsaka di naman kayong new formed bands. 😂
BAMBOO 2003-2011 from rock, pop, rap, to jazz. Playing soft strings and lead guitars, to trumpets. Gary V, Freestyle, Southborder to name a few.
You constantly interrupting Raymund. Tahimik ka muna, let him talk. Tsk2x
Weird. When a question is thrown, right after Raymund talks, Red speaks like he already knew it instead of simply agreeing. Red doesn't seem to give Raymund enough time and respect to answer/talk regardless of the given time for the podcast.
For a person who says he thoroughly researched the origins of Pinoy stand-up comedy, I am appalled that he forgot a lot of the greats by eliminating them right away because they "did not define themselves" or did not fit into the cookie-cutter standard of Western stand-up. He doesn't even know Subas Herrero and Noel Trinidad. He also forgot Jon Santos. He is an impersonator but his sets had a script. What about the gay crossdressing impersonators in karaoke bars? The thing about the origins of Pinoy comedy is that it did not fit into the mold of Western stand-up comedy. It had its own flavor, being a mix of stand-up and singing. Still, these comedians had a standard script when they performed.
Raymund is a good example of progressive thinking, always finding the good in changes. More power!
I really like Raymund as an artist talagang he makes sure his fans will be entertained and satisfied.

Wait how about Ely Buendia he is great also
Nag eempower pa ng bands of today🤘
I don’t know what is being taught now in Music subject at school but what Sir Raims talked about here are very good and interesting discussions points for the subject.
Hopefully next time, you let your resource talk more 😊 Good start, more power!

My fave drummer
Glad to hear na na appreciate nia ang new gen of music. Salute
Yeah.. It's always a good show pag may Raimund Marasigan 👍😊 Thank You for this episode One News Ph! :)
noon pa man, si raims at buddy talaga ang pinakaprofessional na member ng heads. they want the audience feel like their ticket is worth the money.
true! among the four members, ever since, silang dlawa lang ni buddy yung may marunong makisama at may pake sa audience nila
@@KimDeCastro-y8zProbably it is also they worked with other bands (Raims for Sandwich and Buddy for The Dawn).
Ang daldal ni Red. Diyusme. 🤦🏻♂️ We’re here for the guest, hindi sa istorya at thoughts mo.
Exactly..
Kaya nga, bobo e
nakaka irita nga sir eh. sana pabayaan nya magsalita yung guest
Mismo

Welcome to the Raimund Marasigan show!…with special guest Red Sapaw Ollero!
Galing galing👏👏👏
feels like Rayms could've shared more, kaso lang...

I expect Raims to talk more....sayang...
same. in this kind of interview, im ok with one sided. I dont want to hear Red on this matter.
same :)
Great interview! Pero Red talked too much ata. I think he forgot na he's the interviewer, and not the interviewee
Congratulations...ang ganda ng interview na ito. Great topics from a great host.
It was not actually. They can do better questions than those.

what do you expect from Red Ollero mataas na nga ihi tumaas pa lalo dahil sa netflix special niya na bulok naman haha
good point sir rai
Sana patapusin muna magsalita si Rayms bago mag insert nang new topic or may idea ka. Bitin yung ibang sagot ni Rayms.

had the audacity na sabihin nyang Rivermaya ang most favorite band nya in front of Raims😂😅
Wow! E heads Drummer! Im sure the guy has a name!

Keep it up!
why "Ehead's drummer" ? why not put Raymond Marasigan.
agreed. para tuloy nabubuhay lang ba si sir Raims in the shadows of eheads. he is a well made man as in his name is like a fully established brand.
agree, he's already a legend in the industry, opm fans know him even w/o being associated with Eheads
Dami nyong alam, malamang fan ng eheads yung nag introduced eh. Tanungin mo sya kung "raimund only" or sandwich fan sya, malamang hindi.
Ung music na may mix ng ibat ibang tunog from all over the world.
