I don’t think enough attention has been paid to Åberg. Dude is playing in his first Masters and hasn’t even been on the Tour for a full year yet, and he goes out and cards the lowest round on Friday. Put some respect on my dude’s name, CBS! He’s gonna be a contender going into Sunday. How he handles the pressure of a final round in a Major has yet to be determined, but he’s certainly looked like one of the most level headed players this weekend so far
I think the ANWA should do some sort of editing of this video and insert a disclaimer where the commentators are essentially criticizing Jennifer Kupcho's body language. As Jennifer explains at the end, she had a massive migraine and half her visual field was blurry for several holes. If you watch those holes again you can' tell she's trying to shade her eyes from the light and probably trying not to cry from the pain/frustration. t's a safe bet Jennifer would have won by even more had she not been suffering. The fact she persevered and won regardless is outstanding.
It is awesome that Augusta has a women's event but there should be a pro event for the ladies Yes the amateurs should in both genders should have their own events there for so many reasons with all those events having all 4 rounds at Augusta National 😇👏🎉💚
GOOD for Haley Moore. Obviously bullied because she's a bit bigger than others and doesent fit the mold of what people think a golfer should be. She's awesome!!! Oh also, what a beautiful swing!
Well done. A migraine like that can disable you for 20 minutes or so. They are truly horrible and it’s almost impossible to function. A really gutsy performance.
Augusta needs to reclaim the Masters name from Evian Masters and hold a Ladies Masters in the late summer or fall. It's a real shame that all time greats such as Anika and Lorena never played a competitive round there.
The people claiming the shortened course makes it a pansy, should back off. Unless you've been to the course and really have seen it from the golf course view, not the sidelines and behind ten rows, you can't conceive how hilly and convoluted it is. Ask any pro or great amateur and they will say that it's the greens that make Augusta difficult. So, the scoring by the women is equal to that achieved by the men. One time, when I watched at a Masters on the first day, the putting by the poorer players was comical. Three and four putts and more were common.
I've been there, it looks flat here on film...its not...you can't even see over some those undulations, the greens seriously look like a pool table, and you watch how when the ball goes up into those pine trees how it just dies from the wind...theres certain.spots on the green that no matter how much you spin it, it's rolling off the back or down into the water or a bunker...id guess a scratch golfer there would have a thought time breaking 80 on pga tour conditions
unexpectedly great ball striking and precision play. Kupcho on the back 9 was awesome....just dominated the two par 5's. Fassi also a fine player and extremely charismatic, ditto Sierrra Brooks who could be the future Anna Kournikova of women's golf...but hopefully she'll win more tournaments than AK did.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. (James 4:4) When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mark 2:17)
Give me some time to get to know the greens, I’m pretty sure I could put up a score from the ladies tees. It’s not even the same golf coarse. Everything becomes a straight shot, where’s from the back tees you most be able to move the ball.
Lol so you're saying let you play from the ladies tees on a shortened amateur course set for women under 24, and you'd put up a good score? It's not the same course. It's not the same event that you're familiar with.
Eric I’m saying it’s a disgrace Augusta National was publicly played like this. Bobby Jones is turning in his grave. These girls should played the course as it is or not at all. The tee shot at 10 was a joke. I could literally throw the ball and get there easily with 2 throws.
They're deceiving the public that there are on a par with male pros. Do you know in the WNBA, the ball is smaller but the hoop is the same deminsions as the men
@@jameshoran8 What does it matter? It's a women's AMATEUR event. How is there deception. No one called it the Ladies Masters. Augusta is a golf course...and like many many golf courses, can be changed and modified to accommodate the golfer.
Mr Horan, not sure if you’re aware but Augusta is a second shot golf course. That means you need to put your tee shot in the right place in order to get the ball near the hole with your second or third depending on the hole. How far you hit the golf ball, while of some importance is less significant. And as for not showing tee shots, I saw the last pair hit off most tees on the back nine plus they did show the length of the hole if you bothered to watch.
I certainly buy into the value of being able to hit my clubs a reasonable distance. fortunately after playing this game at a reasonable level for 35 years, I have managed to retain decent speed and length throughout my bag. However, the last few videos I have seen from you are completely fixated on the fact that Savannah can hit a 7 iron 180 yards. There is NO value whatsoever in being able to hit a 7 iron 180 yards with jacked lofts and a spin rate that is too low to get control. As soon as I see anyone testing a 7 iron with less than around 5500 - 6000RPM spin, I question the relevance of being able to hit a 7 iron that far. I noticed your spin on the 180y 7i was just over 5000RPM. Personally I like to see my 7 iron spin closer to 6500RPM and even 7000 and my distance in and around 170 yards at 90 - 93mph clubhead speed. Fixation on being able to hit it that long without showing ALL the relevant data is worthless especially when the rest of the information you give about the swing and your approach is so very very good.
Why dont men and women play together? Its golf they have same t box. Its not like Augusta can be a mens course 1 day and a ladies course the next. The pars are the same.
Because it would almost all men and thats not to disparage the women, they are really good golfers, but there would be a lot of guys who can just hit a lot further.
Should make a par-3 series where it's not about hitting as far as you can, but about accuracy. If power is the thing that makes them unequal, that can be removed pretty easily.

Been searching and looking for this 2019 Augusta national women’s amateur Final round for 3months. Thank you so much for uploading this video.
The joy that you saw from Maria over her friend winning was really special.
Wow ! only just found this and its awesome! The quality of the play is fantastic. Thank you to whoever made this happen :)
Amateur? Those young women played liked seasoned pros. Wonderful shotmaking, gutsy strategy and elevating sportsmanship. Bravo!
Thank you for uploading this!! Hope to see the LPGA playing a major here soon!

Not a chance. But this event is better.
Holy cow this field is jamb packed with talent
There is nothing quite like making a 23 foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to win with authority. Nice job.
Glad I got to see this. I really hope that Augusta and LPGA start holding a major there very soon. These lady’s are so so so talented
Shawn Cornell not as good as the men though😬😬

Such great competition... and great sports, the both of them. Well done ladies! 🏌️♀️
