Johan Glans is, in my opinion, the funniest comedian we have. He looks so innocent and confused all the time yet the things that sometimes comes out of his mouth makes you raise your eyebrows. Like the time he found a village/small town called Röven (The Arse). You can probably imagine all the crazy things you could say about that!
@@starrlarh You should react do this video about Swedish Midsummer - "Swedish Midsummer for Dummies". 😁 It's a humorous view, where they kinda make fun of Swedish Midsummer celebration, but yet, of videos I've seen about Midsummer, this is the one that I would say is closest to how we actually celebrate, and they capture the essens of Midsummer really well 😊Also, they manage do all of this in less than four minutes. ua-cam.com/video/u8ZLpGOOA1Q/v-deo.html
And as a bonus you could watch this one as well, which is all crazy and goes way over the top and beyond, about Midsummer celebration. As the story goes, IKEA Germany ordered a commercial from an advertising agency - and they did a really good job, but maybe too good job and took it way too far.... so in the end they couldn't use this commercial for TV. 😅 Still, even though they've gone absolutely bonkers in this one, it still isn't that far from the (hard) truth...! 😁 If this story is true howerever, I really don't know 🙃 and yes, there are a few lines spoken in Swedish but you really don't need subtitles for those, the context is clear in any case ... 😄(The last ones, in the actual ad is in German) ua-cam.com/video/fk-SDWEoUbE/v-deo.html
@@starrlarh its a ancient tradition, we're dancing around a pole that looks like a penis, singing a old french march song called the onion song that the englishmen remade to fool the frenchmen, and then we took it and translated it to swedish, Små Grodorna wich means those small frogs, all knows that the frenchmen eat frogs, and the midsummers tradition is more about reconnecting with neighbors and friends and find a suitable partner, the pole shaped as a penis is a sign of fertility, and also celebrating for the warm summer, 70% of the swedish year is gray and cold so we love the sun a little bit more than many other countries in europe, most traditions we have is remade from the old religion "Asatro" to christianity ^^) hope this comment gave you a better answer.
Hi, im a Swede, love Johans comedy. But why has som many started to react to him? He deserves it and love this, but how do you kow about a lil Swede?.-)
Wow did not expect this. Im a Swede and i cant stop laughing at this guy Johan Glans he's like the most akward and humble comedian :D. He can literally make anything funny.
Unfortunately you misunderstood the concept of chicken at Swedish Easter - they are not to be eaten at all. Imagine newly hatched tiny yellow downy birds; they are there just for their cute looks. No Swede would ever think of eating those innocent creatures.
Hmm... I would've loved to see you react to the Swedish sitcom "Kvarteret Skatan".. I just don't know if anyone translated it to English.. (Technically I'd also like to see EVERYONE react to "Little Mosque on the Prairie", but I haven't found Swedish subs for it yet.. I KIND of intended to make a go at making subs for it myself, but.. puns are difficult as you really really have to invent NEW jokes to replace the ones in the show)
Chicken, eggs, rabbits and also bread hidden in the field are all celebrations of Ester, the goddess of fertility. Hence the Easter bunny. And Estrus, And estrogens.

Midsummer is a swedish tradition in the middle of the summer. We meet up with friends and eat, drink and dance.
That’s cool!! Great for catching up with each other. I absolutely love it ❤️
Thanks a lot😊
Well, sometimes we also dance, drink, eat...and end up meeting "friends" ... ;-)

I love how you had found out about our Easter witches before the video, so you knew what he was talking about. Johan is really funny!
When I was a kid we would gather a big group of kids from the neighborhood and compete with other groups with how much candy we would get😂
I love Johan Glans, he always make You laugh
Im a guy, but me and my bestie dressed as witches as kids just ti get free candy 😎
I thought Easter was about rebirth. Hence (pun not intended) the eggs.
Haha I love your laughs :):)
Thank you ❤👍
😊😊
One of Johans funniest jokes is the one about Lucia it’s a Swedish tradition
