The Burlington Historical Society's (BHS) United Empire Loyalists' (UEL) cemetery project got a boost from the City of Burlington.
The city has matched the non-profit's pledge of $5,000 toward the project, bringing the total to $10,000.
BHS made the announcement following the May meeting. Council made the decision to draw funds from its Neighborhood Campaign.

My mother cleaned Murray fisher and his wife’s house when they lived on highway 5. ( Dundas). In the early eighties. I remember meeting him a few times before he past away in his vegetable garden. I thought that was a nice way to go.
