- Everyone's up and ready then we got another rain delay! While the kids didn't get to ride, a little bit of rain doesn't stop @RonnieMac69 and Chad Reed from going head to head for the crowd!
We're the Reeds! Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! After recently retiring it is time for us to start the next chapter in our lives and we've decided to bring everyone along for the ride with us on our new youtube channel The Reeds!

Man.... you could see my arm shaking during those interviews, not from nerves but from pain. Had collar bone surgery a week before that!

Love it! Ronnie has some serious bike control, it's awesome. But Chad, smooth an calculated as always! I hope you can start a movement, Chad! It'd be great to see more riders start taking to local tracks. It would help inspire younger generations and would help local communities a lot! It would also give a lot of people the chance to see their favorite riders ride since it's not always that easy to go to the stadium events.

What a great collaboration and I can't wait to see Ron's video! I totally agree when you said traveling with boots on the ground is nothing like flying everywhere. You can miss so much traveling by airlines. As always thanks for bringing us along with you guys.
Racing with my kids kept our family broke and we missed out on some things other families did. However, I would not have missed the experience for the world, and it made my kids understand if you want something earn it. If you are hurting you can make it through more than you realize. That mental toughness can spell the difference in a match up. Made them into terrific adults. Thanks for showing the family side of two wheels.

Seeing Chad on the two strokes is just nostalgia, would love to see him on the new fuel injected 250 two stroke KTM, fully modded. Btw Kiah is so funny, everything i watch her i get a good laugh, she truly lights up the the spirit!

Ol Uncle Ron was at least 6 seconds faster and that air wheelie was 9 foot longer. 69% better all the way around.

It's no Milla(Miller beer for us Yanks)Yamaha...I forget which video that was when I was a teen. Terrafirma? I worshipped all those videos back then(if you didn't VHS then you don't know). Glad you are spending time with the kids and enjoying life! I was mainly into dirtbikes at the time but have 15 seconds of fame on the original Xtreme ATV video a cpl years later in the 90's racing TT on Quads.
Loved seeing you RIP the Screaming Eagle. What I love more though is that your kids chose to ride and race dirt bikes over other sports. Key word being chose. I have a 3 yr old that has mastered his first balance bike and I am now working with him on a Stacyc bike. I am not really interested in him racing dirt bikes in the grand scheme of things even though I would love it if he did. I am more interested in him just loving to ride so I have a great partner out in the woods. I believe that parents can be an influence towards one sport, but I know that it is always best to let the child decide exactly what sport they want to play. Love the videos, loved seeing you on the 2 stroke and best of luck at the World Supercross events!!!
If Chad and his kids are going to be at Chillitown next year then I'm going to make sure me and my boys are there too. Chad is right on with his comments about needing seat time and gate drops at real local races instead of just spending all your time at training facilities.
Great family ethics Chad, kids have got to want to ride. Got my boy a pw50 when he was 4,enjoyed going out on it a few times then he said he didn’t want to, so I said nee bother sunshine put it in the garage with a sheet on. In the meantime he was bang into his mountain bike so he built up his core strength and confidence riding all over on that, he’s just turned 5 now and starting asking about his motorbike again so took him out on it and he’s flying! Loved watching you race back in the day mate all the best from Newcastle upon Tyne England 🏴

Uncle Ron was at least 6 or 9 seconds ahead. Probably cause he kept it in 6 and 9th gear the entire time using a 69 tooth rear sprocket.
They should put Uncle Ronnie on the two smoker for team USA MXDN, full send!!!

It's going to be awesome seeing the 22 race supercross again. Just not sure about KTM being the bike he races. They haven't been competitive in a few years. I would like Chad to have the best equipment coming out of retirement against current pros. Just saying
Locally, riders around here have had lots of problems with the 2022 KTM's and GasGas bikes. I get he wants to support the Aussie brand but I'd love to see him and the kids on YZ's.

that original Screamin' Eagle was just tested at NASA in Japan and the results shown it to be the fastest motocross bike ever to exist of all time without a single shadow of a doubt.

For this sport to grow, more kids , adults need to be racing. More people just riding dirt bikes. Out door motocross not supercross will grow the sport. The tracks pros race on everybody can race on.
