You're missing the point that some of us are turning to this test because we've exhausted so many other options to treat our symptoms. For conditions such as psoriatic arthritis, doctors are quick to prescribe expensive, immuno-supressing drugs before having a conversation about determining what might be the cause of symptoms. Modern medicine is a miracle, but healthcare that is only aimed at treating symptoms rather than the cause, has a backwards approach.

The thing is and they state, most foods don’t show immediate reaction to food sensitivity, which is why most people can’t tell which foods they’re sensitive to. Allergies are different, you usually get an immediate reaction unlike sensitivity. This works, I actually get horrible migraines since I was 6, which led me to do a food elimination to see which foods caused my migraines, took years to narrow it down to exact foods, finally I took this test to do some comparison and low and behold the test was on point on my high food sensitivity.

Low grade inflammation which you get from a food sensitivity is very difficult to notice. It could feel like random symptoms, such as your headaches, or bloating in your stomach because of leaky gut, which are not immediately noticeable. Consuming foods on an ongoing basis that you have an intolerance to well usually lead to some type of auto immune disease over time. This is highly documented and a well known fact in the naturopathic and functional medicine communities.

That is so true I think people with IBS would benefit from this test which includes us. We all have some food sensitivities to some extent it's just that they may have other foods included in their diet to help digest these foods, hence they dont notice any difference in a controlled studies. You also have to take your microbiome into consideration as well. The digestive system is more complex than people bring it out to be. It's not pseudoscience. I believe I know what I am talking about and been working with a Gastrologist for a few years now.

@@eddierobles2137 Honestly I am not sure. You would have to work with a Gastrologist on that one. This is major, it can affect your mood your likely hood to become overweight and energy levels. I got treated with leaky gut syndrome which was probably not my diagnosis. It made my IBS worse for nearly 18 months! I went on xifaxan which clears your microbiome and then after the 2 week treatment you have to add the bacteria back by taking the right probiotics. It took forever for my body to grow back its microbiome. I couldn't eat anything and had to do a low fodmap diet. If I ate anything that had any level difficulty to digest normally I could not consume it with out experiencing really bad stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhea for hours. It was hell. I could not eat simple shit you would think had no effect on your gut like watermelon. WTF. No spices, no onions, no cucificious veggies like kale, broccoli, no beans, no dairy, no lunch meats, no gluten. There is more but its practically almost everything an average American eats. I am Mexican and I could not have Mexican food without dealing with the pain later on. Its definitely a journey

From what I've read and watched about these tests, they do seen to show mainly food you eat often and recently that are in your system. The validity of these are up to interpretation but I would definitely take the results with a grain of salt. My only concern with this review is that she immediately writes off every food that was marked as high to moderate sensitivity because she said she never noticed anything wrong eating those foods. But isn't that the point of the test, to reveal to you the sensitivities you didn't know. I don't expect her to have already known which foods she was sensitive to. Seems like for the sake of the video at least it is worth eliminating a few of the high and moderate sensitivity foods from her diet, maybe for a few days to a week, then seeing if she feels any different after a period of time instead of writing off everything immediately as if she knows how her body reacts to everything she ingests. In the end she may be right but what a waste of a test to not even go through with the elimination process.

You are so right. With food sensitivities you don't feel anything. It's not the same as food intolerance or food allergies! That's why you do the test. I am actually sensitive to the foods that I eat more often and like the most like dairy products, eggs, olive oil, lime, garlic, celery, baker's yeast and a bunch of other things. However, I don't feel anything wrong after I eat them. That's why I wanted to do the test

I suffer from IBS since puberty so this test is a must for me. Remember the sensitivities you may have you can still consume these foods but in moderation or very little. It must be legit because my health coverage covered the cost of the test. I believe this should not replace actual diseases like celiac disease, UT or Crohn's disease which I have already been tested for. This would be the next step after those possibilities have been eliminated. There also maybe some other factors in your diet that help you digest these food sensitivities. For people like me with IBS diagnosis this would be ideal.

From what I read the test has a 95% success rate of identifying foods that one does not have an intolerance to howver only a 50% success at identifying an intolerance. 50% means it doesn't identify an intolerance at all. Nobody would ever cut out all of these results anyway. A logical person would only eliminate the high reactivity foods, which in your case, is just one food item. So your assessment of this test might be a bit off.
However, I get terrible GERD within 10-15 minutes after ingesting fruit. To the point where I stay away from fruit altogether. I’m taking this to see if i have a high reactivity not necessarily to fruit, but another food group whereas if I eliminate it, could it also help with the GERD I experience when ingesting fruit. So there’s way more to this test than, “here’s your high reactivity so you must have a bad reaction when eating it so stop eating it.”

    Consider the following simple example:
Two people have negligible IgG to egg whites.
    They both eat one egg.
Now one of them has IgG of 30, and the other has an IgG of 90.
Now ask the question of where the IgG came from. Why does one people now have more?
Now lets just talk physics and chemistry. One person has an extra 60 IgG. Some amount of work, thus energy, had to be expended to make this happen. Meaning, one person used more energy given the same exact food.
I also assume that your body does have an upper limit on how much IgG it can make at a time. If there is not enough to go around, then maybe your body struggles with the remainder.

I have come to a conclusion after watching many of these food sensitivity and various dieting videos.
    KISS
    Keep It Simple Stupid
A single theme/diet that I have seen in most success stories I would categorize it as "The Boring Diet".
We are taught that to be normal we must eat a variety of foods and not be picky eaters. While it seems that limiting the variety of foods and being consistent is what helps people the most.
If you are truly suffering, switch to a very simple meal plan. Eat the same exact thing everyday. I am talking like boiled ground beef and white rice. A little salt if you need seasoning.
The idea that you need to 100 different kinds of food in a week sounds like it falls the "jack of all trades master of none" for your body.

Thanks, however, 5 years ago I rescued a white American Pit Bull terrier. She scratched for 80% of her waking hours. She had demodex when I got her, but we cleared that up and she still scratched and scratched and scratched unless she was on prednisone. Prednisone can cause you animal to be diabetic and it can take one dose! I took her to 5 vets and all suggested she probably had a flea allergy. Make sure she's on preventative. She was! A whopping $60 pill! I treated my yard and fleas are easy to find on a white dog! She had none! I found an online dna test for food sensitivities. It was $150 back then and the best $150 I'd ever spent! The vet suggested I withdraw her from stuff one at a time to figure it out. Well, she's allergic/sensitive to everything from plastic to red potatoes! Worst or all this included all proteins other than beef and fish. Once I kept her from being exposed to "the list " as well as I could, (grass, weeds, mold, are all but impossible), she became a new dog! Stopped scratching, gained 7lbs, and her coat became, thick, lush, and shiney! Now she's 6 and she's scratching again. I know she's become sensitive to something else, but what?

This was good information. The advertisements only marketing to white women always weirded me out also. Like shouldn’t this also work on men and non-white stomachs? I’ll send my blood elsewhere.

Y'all will look for racism in literally everything. 🙄

@@ScottElblein "Ya'll" didn't say they were racist or sexist, but if you say so.... From a marketing perspective, it seems remiss to limit your advertisements to one demographic if can actually work for multiple ones. White women aren't the only humans with stomachs, so why were there only countless ads with no men or non European ancestry women? Either way, the tests are not great, so it's not my problem.

Well obviously the marketing could be more diverse, but the color of skin does not change your stomach. A stomach is a stomach as a heart is a heart.
