is there shocks behind the air bags ? i want to do something like this for a boat trailer... but cant have shockys beBecause of salt water... must be salt water damage free system
I have built several air suspensions. Studying the video, I am convinced there is no need for shock absorbers. The bags absorb rebound as they roll within themselves. Magnificent.
60 years ago I put 2 knee action front suspensions from old Plymouths on a boat trailer with new shocks and had an unbelievable smooth boat haul.
There is no steel spring suspension anywhere that can ride as smooth as that. Excellent system.

what brand/model bags are you using here?
Those look like Hedrickson bags or maybe a Firestone equivalent.

No cross bar allows for independent movement of the axles.
Shocks are to far forward, axle leverage over shocks is too great !!!!!
