Thats because when running with a gun the bullets doesn't come from the gun but rather comes from your chest angled slightly upwards and considerably to the left, as a matter of fact bullets never come from the gun but always from mid chest at a pre determined angle learn these angles and you can no scope people from surprising ranges. I personally regularly noscope people with a kar98 while falling in on plunder (side note every sniper rifle has a slightly different, or in some cases dramatically different angles so learning how to no scope with 1 sniper won't let u no scope with all snipers, particularly the cw snipers)

I like how Battlefield handles their hipfire. Titanfall’s hipfire is super accurate but it makes sense cause your character has so much mobility that ADS seems more optional than mandatory and l love it
Also looking into the lore there is a good chance that your gun puts a retica on where your aiming like it dose in game

That's why i love Roblox FPS games than COD xd. Putting laser only helps with target acquiring, but putting foregrip or muzzle brake helps a lot with recoil.

Shotgun isn’t an absolute no skill weapon, you still have to move fast and know where you’re going to avoid getting shot by an AR or a Sniper, Hardscoping sniper is the absolute no skill play in my opinion…

IMO Insurgency has the best Hipfire system of any game going for ""realism'".
Bullets go where the barrel is pointing, but the mouse controls where the barrel is pointing as well as the camera, GoldenEye style. Recoil is more severe when hipfiring so the gun is just *genuinely* harder to control, rather than faking making it hard to control like most games do.

It always confused me how even when the gun is still, it somehow makes this wide circle of random accuracy going everywhere expect where the barrel is being pointed at
It simulates the fact that in real life the gun wouldn’t be still and leveled, you need to aim down sight to know if it’s properly aligned. A more realistic way would be having a very tight hipfire wandering all over the place especially when moving but people would call it annoying

@@rraaiin Tarkov does way too little of that, to the point where full auto hipfire to the head while aggressively strafing is the primary cqb meta. T-rex arms put that to the test with a full auto mp5 and it’s far from reality. Only time where aiming down sight is not meant to be used is with a sidearm firing from retention with your elbow locked to a target very close to you that might grab the weapon or attack you before you get a sight picture

Lol I've always hated cod hipfire especially with snipers, makes no logical sense, the barrel doesn't become wider when the gun isn't shouldered but cod logic says otherwise
It's much harder to stay on target if you don't have a sight in front of your eyes, you cant see a big crosshair in real life, you just sort of have to eyeball it, which is way less accurate than looking down the sights

That's all there is to it, You want your targets to go down? You gotta aim down your sights.
Aiming down your sights also works for switching quickly between targets.
Aim down your sights, then pop in and out to acquire new targets.
If your target is close to where you are aiming, you can snap to it quickly by aiming down your sights.

I've shot out of almost every type of gun, unless you aim you will have a hard time hitting anything other than the broad side of a barn, especially so for weapons with recoil.

I saw a guy IRL hold 2 M249’s and full-auto them both like The Terminator. Point is its very possible and this game is designed horrifically.
