Best way to build missiles: -Make it like an AIM-9, meaning fins on the front and rear ends of the missile, BUT ONLY CONNECT THE FRONT FIN TO COMPOSITE, also make sure the front fin is inverted from the rear fin, this is a lot more stable as long as the CoM if infront of the Middle point between the two fin blocks, ideally as forward as possible, the further forward it is the more stable but slower turning it is, and vice versa for further back, hope this helps!
In order to make the rocket explode you need to connect the launched node to the warhead. And if you add a rocket fin to the front(make sure it's opposite of the rear one, negative arrow left) it would be more stable.
I think that your rocket fins can not compensate as a short missile is a lot more unstable. Further your fins are at a very bad place. Normally things turn around the center of mass but if you have a lot of thrust you need to consider the center of thrust as well. The more thrust the further back the point the the object rotates around goes. Back there your fins have no leverage.
It's easier because you don't need to mess with microcontroller, but you still need to think how you build the rocket. You can't just slap a radar with a rocket fin, it wouldn't work.
The fins are inverted, on your you can see the positive arrown going anti-clockwise while on the preset it goes clockwise

Frantic should take your advise
No i try this and may roket is fuck

The fins are reverse tracking. Something needs to be switched to a negative value.
Geez Frantic😆 how do you make so many videos in such a short time???
Btw, the misfire at the start was hilarous
No idea haha :)
@@FranticMatty Also an idea: multiplayer mayhem with the ship you used in the last video
@@gabrielgonzalez2371 Love to see that.
The big missile may need two sets of fins
Pretty close dude, if you need tips and tricks I uploaded a video yesterday on this exact thing. Feel free to have a quick watch
Hard point reciver has to send an input to "arm" the warheads
It doesn’t
This update seems to have been released in the middle of the work.
xD
Not really, they just gave us a shit example Missile, making it a lot harder to understand how missiles work
Damn I guess it’s harder than I expected I’ll have to try it myself
Pls Finish the supply ship
I loved the series
The one I've been firing at? :P
@@FranticMatty yes
Try changing fin influence for the smaller missile.
Frantic
Do a one hour live build challenge
to build a boat or plane etc
please
you forgot to program the missile to know where it isn't.
Your problem might have to do with rocket fin orientation.
Bro, you connected radar data. You need to connect missile output from radar to fin block (sry for my english)
Maybe infert the signal to the fin
Maybe the rotation of the missile fins are not facing the right direction?
Definitely
Hi Frantic, can you maby take a look at Lorgs's MRV3 ?
I might give it a go! :D
Awesome
Yea this dont make any sense. I thought it would be easier...
xD

Please build a hypersonic missile!!
I think yours is front heavy and the preset one is balanced
U got the missile fins back to front
Maybe your missile is too short
Maybe its the missile structure
Fins are inverted...
Your fins are the wrong way, side + should point upwards, top + should point right
wow
Wew
Amogus
Wah?
@@FranticMatty the missile is sus
Yah your signal to the fin need ro be inferted
