8th Gate Obito honestly, I am all self taught so my information might be wrong. I believe you are right about what you heard though. With this technique, I use my vocal cords for the yelling/screaming and add false chord for the grit/rasp sound I get. A good example would be to listen to my (sic) cover from a few weeks ago and compare my vocals to this one, you’ll hear my vocals don’t have a lot grit/rasp in (sic).
