Jeramy really appreciate you not giving off a dumb face on your videos to get more views like popular channels sell out and are okay with making people dumber. You have amazing people around you🖖🏻
That garden is rockin! The great thing about this channel is it allows viewers to achieve the results we see. Amazing people, amazing brand, amazing education and amazing products!
Hell Yea! I'm at Day 33 In Flower. In my Room, and the plants are Huge "Some close to 6ft" in the 3.0 Mix on my 6th Run in it. It just keeps getting better and better each Run. I only Vegged 6 weeks and I usually go 8 from Seed. But I'm glad I decided to flip at 6 this go lol. If not I'd have ran out of room lol. I started with 20 plants and now I'm down to 15. I culled a few Hermies and Smaller plants that weren't gonna produce. Still not gonna lose much Yield. Just crazy growth this Run. Thanks for the Update on the tents to Brother. Looking Killer!
Tomorrow is preparation day for harvesting, tuesday is the big day of harvesting my first grow. Thank you for all the information, knowledge and help Jeremy. Your support team of Zach, daemin, and Dave who've I've been conversing with most of my grow now have really gone above and beyond with answeing my questions and helping with anything I needed in away they could. You've grown a lot of cannabis over the years, though this community you've grown is truly something special. Here's to everyone for a successful grow and onto the next!
Build a Soil for the win! Absolutely have taking my grow to the next level! & Ive been doing this over 30 years! Commercially & now just for the love. So much happier with my quality after getting up with Miles & being rejuvenated! My passion is back & stronger than ever. Thank you Jeremy & Everyone on your team. Crawdaddy❤
Question for the next FAQ: Can you update the BAS Feed Schedule to include GNAR-BAR and THRIVE? What phases of growth & how much to apply? When to stop? BIG THANKS!!
got some nl#5 about to go into flower indoors , my outdoor gal is going crazy already but the ice cream cake took a few more weeks to trigger. crazy to see how different strains outdoor compared to indoors , been doing living soil method outside too , even with cover crop and the full microbe routine , gotten the best yield so far for veggies outdoor on a first year raised than ever ! thanks buildasoil and rootwise :D
I got a huge load of spent mushroom blocks from down the road I love using it In my worm bin and soil mix and too dress it’s a free badass soil booster and plants rip with it mixed in a bucket with my other stuff as top dressing onto year three almost on the worm bin so those castings should be bomb diggity got the kelp meal Karanja neem other meals craft blend and a ton of malted barley all that together lasts me a few runs with just water on the 100 gal pots
Jeremy you are awesome, thanks for the help in Discord with identifying my unfinished compost being the culprit and leeching my plants. Best $15 per month I could spend. 🙏
Sheeeesh those are some big autos ya got there my friend 😊🙌🏻🔥👏🏻. Appreciate ya answering my instagram message about the bulb mites eating my seedlings 💚🤙🏼. Digging that shirt my guy 🤘🏼
I've been very intrigued by this build a soil system. After seeing the auto tent raging with such health and vigor I am going to give it a whirl. I got a 10g mini 3.0 soil kit. As I understand it's not quite a big enough system, but it will fit what I've got space for. Excited to try and get off the bottles and have a soil pet. haha.
Im so excited for the comparison of the different container sizes! I would also love a comparison of the blumat and the autopot and maybe also comparing these two to the handwatered 15gal. Keep growing!

Great video I just got done with my first big bed wall to wall in a 2x4 20 days ago man this summer heat was crazy messed with my dry had it at 58-60% humidity but the temp was hard to keep it lower the 76 it would jump from 76 to 80 got to 84 on the 3 super hot days I think it messed my Terps up. Next run should be batter starting in a few weeks
What do you think about Bio Live from Down to Earth as a topdress at this stage? I just gave mine that at the end of week 3 with some Seabird Guano/Bone Meal and Langbeinite for extra PK. I figured BioLive would be good for some inoculation on the topsoil (I’m in small containers this run, switching to beds next run.)
Please talk about banana tea for bloom stage. I have started growing in soil thanks to you and I purchased Ecowitt system and it help me realized I am OVER watering. That and moving to larger air pots.
Fabric pots by grassroots is what Jeremy is using. They have a liner in the inside that helps us maintain moisture and bot loose water from the sides or from run off. You'll have a much better time managing moisture than with airpots. Airpots are specifically beneficial for those using synthetics and the grower wants to squeeze as many feedings in as possible. We want to avoid large swings on moisture. Ideally we would hold it within a certain tight range. This is because we rely on microbes starting and finishing biological processes that will stop when moisture isn't held at some level of constant. An example is nitrogen fixing bacteria. The nitrogen cycle teaches us the prerequisites for fixing nitrogen. One of the first things that must occur us a moisture level that's held at the optimal range for 24 hours. There are many more nutrient cycles we could talk about but this alone spotlights the importance of even moisture in a living soil. Or we just what little water soluble nutrients are available. This takes away the buffet option that we are all trying to manage for the plants sake.
You’re rocking it as always bro! Lookin beautiful man! Sooooo….any chance of a seed giveaway?? I would love to test those out. Awesome work as always, take care!
Thanks for everything Jeremy and BAS team. Now that you have been using moisture sensors for a while do you feel like you have changed anything in the amount of moisture and water your beds receive. Just wondering if you think you’ve been adding more water now that you have been measuring things? Thanks for everything!
Its very rare that I don't pollinate a branch or 2.......currently working on an outcross to BX of my favorite plant that is fem only so I can continue it in REGs for preservation and sharing.
Thanks for all the information and quality inputs Build a Soil offer. I have a question about the Soy being used to fertilize plants. Estrogen within the soy at large amounts can have negative effects. I recently ran into someone in my neighborhood who has PHD in agriculture who worked with soy almost his entire career. I asked him about the estrogen being a problem (creating mental instability) and he said it most certainly is a thing. Soybean meal does provide nitrogen quickly and has been used for a ton of agriculture applications. Not to mention everything soy is used to help preserve food. Hope I am not sounding like a conspiracy kind of person however there is some food for thought on perhaps the application of soy being excessively used with our food has created more harm than good within our country's food supply. The food and mental wellbeing epidemic perhaps go hand in hand. Soy is extremely cheap and easy to grow in the big picture of things. My question is does the estrogen carry over to the Cannabis when used as a fertilizer or even the food that we eat? Love the craft blend results however I am concerned for obvious reasons.
Thank you for answering my question a few FAQs back! I have another, I wanna get into living soil but I grow outdoors, zone 7a, and wanted to know would living soild survive a winter outside, and if so what's the best way to store/prep it for a potential cold winter. I'm on a second floor and would be a challenge to move it into a shed, little curve ball lol thanks for the videos they are so damn helpful!!
Ideally, you'd want to bring it inside and plant a cover crop. Always running a cover crop is important but way more important when you're storing or not using it you are in a container of living soil. So if leaving it outside, I'd plant a winter, cold resistance cover crop and mulch deep. So no matter what you do you pick the cover crop that matches the enviroment amd this keeps the soil alive. I'd top dress compost as well. When it comes time to use it next season you jump start it by planting a spring cover crop. Chop and drop when your ready to plant. Let me know if your close to roswell, that's where I'm at!
I'd rather bring it indoors even if it was a pain in the ass. For me I use casters or rollers to place plants on for easy rolling to new locations. You can use a couple 2x4s and another person and just carry it. Just some ideas
@tonyoliva8488 thank you for the advice! I will definitely look into a good winter cover crop, and last winter wasn't bad at all, and I think 15-20 gallon pots can be moved kinda easy with 2 people if is cold. Would it be a bad idea to dump all the pots into one pot for the winter?
Summer here in Michigan. I gotta defoliate way more that what I normally would because here we never need to use a humidifier. Plenty of it . Too much with so many fan leaves holding water
Hey Jeremy, I have recently purchased the dominion seed company soil and made my own soil with a box of 4-4-4 amendments from down to earth my plants are doing great. I have been watching the videos and appreciate the free education. I live in the finger lakes region and it is very rural and new to recreational so not many people are willing to share what they know about living soil without feeling like they are giving away growing secrets they've used for years. My dad told me about living soil and I'm so glad I found this it has changed my life and knowledge about growing, thank you. I was wondering if it is ok to top dress the dominion soil along with my homemade soil during the stretch phase. I have 2 of the bigger earth boxes with 4 autos in 1 box, and 2 photoperiod for clones in another. 20 gallons each. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks, Nick Phelps
In the BuildaSoil schedule you’d be changing the light schedule to 11/13 soon (approximately 10 days from this recording?). Will you be doing that this run or stick to 12/12 Another question related to the schedule. The schedule says add BuildABloom at 1/4 tsp/1/2 tsp/1/4 tsp per gallon of water (depending on what week in bloom you’re in), but the BuildABloom packaging says to use at 1 tsp per gallon of water. Could you please clarify what rate we should be using BuildABloom at? I’ve been personally using BuildABloom at the 1tsp per gallon of water weekly in an Earthbox with two plants growing in it. My thinking is each plant has access to ~1/2 tsp - that said it’d be good to hear from you your thinking on this Thanks mang! Love the content and edumacation ☮️🤙🏼😎🤓
When using the build a soil feeding schedule are all these top dressings and liquids added once a week? Like where it says BLOOM TRANSITION should I add a handful of build a flower for each week in this phase? Or do I just do it once when entering that phase of the grow?
Question for your FAQ: Aloha from Oregon, just bought Straw paya $40 half ounce special, since today's Sunday it was 35 for a half a ounce. My first dispensary purchase since spring 22. I've five autos trimmed chilling out in their Grove bags. Patiently waiting on mother nature to finish the rest for the rains come. You have any advice about used equipment? I'm in rather desperate need to get a tent setup in the next two weeks. Do you think it would be worthwhile to get a used tent? Craigslist? Discord? Marketplace I'm skeptical. Mom's Canadian friends will be here on the 9th, staying in the guest room. She wants my 🐼 film grow out of the closet 100%, - I understand, no problem. Being exiled to the garage I need to get a tent that has some insulation to some degree or put a ceramic heater in there for safety as Dave suggested. I appreciate your thoughts. Thank you for all your inspiration guidance and genesequa! 👏🏻🥂🙏🏻🤘🏻🤙🏻🖖🏻
What is the best way to store Colorado worm castings? I am a small grower and love these castings, but they tend to get old and dry oui by the time I use a whole bag. I am sure the worms have died. Any suggestions?
I made 60 gallons using Craft Blend as the base . 2 -30 gallon pots ,the plants have crushed it but now the cloth pots are so hard and the surface tension of the soil is unreal.I should have left more inches for top dressing. My question is ,is it worth it to add Root wise bio-phos and elixr to there watering since there is little available soil left ? Does BAS have products that feed the plants more directly ?
Why? Are you saying the water takes a long time to penetrate the soil? If so, I bet your not mulching properly. There should be no issue with water penetrating a living soil. If you have a hard crust that thebwater can't break through easily your not mulching. Or not mulching enough. Are you in a small container less than 15 gallons? Either way you really need to keep thebsoil covered so it dosent get a hard pan top layer. Thats a big indication your managing the soil wrong. It would be good to mist the top of the mulch and soil on days you don't water. Think even moisture. Not hard dry backs
30 gallon pot. Yes did manage wrong , did not leave enough room for good amount of mulch. Been using a combo of Tiger Bloom, bone meal, molasses, and epsom salts. Every other week I use BAS pumpkin .I also really like the Montana grow product.Inside grow are easy compared to outside and waiting for mother nature to throw into flower. Pirate boarder is an interesting channel on out side grows , thank you for your ideas. @@tonyoliva8488

Geat auto tent. It looks like a beautiful broccoli stalk. No dry bark buildup. No splitting. No purple. No leisions. No rustiness. Beautiful.

i don't do things EXACTLY your way, but i always take away SOMETHING that'll be applied to my own setup... good stuff, as always
I've only ever used 5 gallon fabric pots, I just got a 15 gallon grass roots pot and am VERY excited to see the difference. Thanks BuildASoil.
Superior amendments and content! Thanks to all that make it happen...💚

man that new kashi bloom got some of the beta blend for my run , still had top microbes and myco goin like crazy for 3-4 weeks after application
Gotta love when it gets to the end of stretch. Time to watch them stack
How about using a few moisture meters in the 4x4? Maybe get an irrometer too. More data!! Haha thanks for all the killer content ❤

you cant put these vids out fast enough man i love them 😀
Thank you!
Quick thought ,could you put a light on the side for the lowers to get a chance ?
My plants are at about the exact same place in time right now. I agree on the bud size. I like the golf ball size. They're like serving size. 😉
I can't wait to see your own seeds grown
Great vid, looks amazing 🔥💨🦨✌️👊
Literally perfect timing for me on this video. I have 5 earth boxes going in 3.0. Loving it so much. Wayyyy better than coco.
Thank you for your guidance brother 🙏

In the BuildaSoil schedule you’d be changing the light schedule to 11/13 soon (approximately 10 days from this recording?). Will you be doing that this run or stick to 12/12
Another question related to the schedule.
I’m experimenting with rice hulls.
Should I PH my water after making a tea? Or does it mess with the biology I just created? Thanks for any info!
I prefer a golf ball smaller cola plant over a big budded one.

Hey Jeremy, so when you pollinate you plants does the seed come out as regular seeds or feminized seeds?
