Thanks for the info! What if you are uploading a Med1 or Med2 from a pharmacy or a dentist - that is, you are uploading a single PDF file that has receipts from multiple dates - what date should go in the "Date expense paid" fields? (ANSWER: Found it one of your comments on another video - "Use the year end date of 31 Dec XXXX for each year.")

Hello there! I added 4 receipts from 2022 to 2025, but when I get to the next step, "claim" unfortunately, i seen only the receipt from the last year 2025. Why did this happen??? I suspect because i use a mobile phone, and this is why i seen only the last claim. Even when i clicked on all receipts(there were 3 ticks-claimed,not claimed, and all receipts),I'm still not able to see all receipts like in your video. Just wonder if i do this with my laptop, all receipts, which i already uploaded, will be stored in my history or not? Thank you for your time and help. Kind regards

Quick question, I noticed that they say there is a limit of 1,000 euro.

Also, any medical visits that I forgot to claim for that year or was not eligible to claim from my insurance as I reached my limit, can I just upload them separately and cliam the tax back? I didn't claim on my health insurance for some receipts and its too late to do so now. Can I still claim tax back if they are within the previous 4 years?

Download the statement available from Laya. Upload this for each year applicable on the receipts tracker. Use the year end date of 31 Dec XX. Remember you can only claim for what Laya did not refund.

Hi Mairead, question. Can I claim for medical costs for my father, he's 70 and retired? I can't find any info on if he can because it's all linked to paye and people paying tax🤷🏻‍♂️ it's very badly done. Like he has a medical card but waiting 18 months isn't an option as he is sick so we're forking out big money for him to be seen privately. Also, can I claim for him for this current year? Or do I have to wait until January of next year?

You can claim for your dads medical expenses if you paid for them and you are a tax payer. You can claim for 2024 now if you like. Revenue will increase your tax credits. You can also wait until year end. For 2020 to 2023 you can complete your income tax returns for get tax refund. I have full tutorial linked in the description.

Hi, I had a surgery in 2022 but I haven’t paid anything because it was a public hospital only paid 60€ for medicine but in that time I was not able to work a month. So , can I claim for this operation or no? Thanks in advance

No, you must be paying tax in order to claim tax back and you also need to have paid for the procedure.

It's a pain you have to do all the medical expenses eg/ doctor visits separately instead of one. :)

You can upload a statement for the year from the pharmacy it's called a med1. Some GPs will give you this too. A lot quicker 🥳
