The Blazers and the Grant Taylors in particular are Nike's best skate shoes. I believe the canvas is to increase breathability and to reduce weight and cost.
I had the ishod, the leo and now a GT blazer and so far the blazer is my favorite overall. the ishod had amazing looks and flick but the durability was meh. the leo had horrible flick. the blazer feels somewhere in between and i love it. I thought it would have horrible impact protection but that zoom air unit surprisingly works. much better than adidas vulc skate shoes.
Hey man, yeah wouldn't say it's a negative but would prefer the whole upper to be suede! Feels proper solid though, the thick sole feels nice! Shoe proper hugs your foot!
