My goal is to have a new toy collection video released around the beginning of each month. You’re invited to participate too by making your own video of a toy collection of your choice too. Then you can share the link to your video with me in either the comments of one of my videos or send it to me on social media (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter: ZubbieCreations), and I’ll add your video to my playlist. The idea is if people stop by to watch my toy collection video, they’ll check your video and others too since they will be in the playlist.
The goal of this project is get people watching new content, so please do not submit any videos created before November 1, 2017 for the December playlist.
If you decide to create your own video, I’ll give you the choice of having me including it in this December’s playlist or the next month’s January’s playlist.
Some other things to keep in mind:
1. Everyone is welcome to join. I don’t care how many subscribers you have. If you don’t have any subscribers at all, that’s fine too because we all start from zero.
2. This is a no stress project. Feel free to join in or drop out at any time. You can participate for your choice of as many months as you want or just one month.
3. You can talk about any toy/figure/doll collection of your choice.
4. Your collection doesn’t have to include figures from the same toy line. For example, I’m considering making a video about various bird toys I have from various manufacturers.
5. The size of your collection doesn’t matter. What matters is you enjoy it, so if you only want to talk about 3 figures/toys/dolls, that’s cool too!
Feel free to ask me any questions in a comment or a message on social media. (Zubbie’s Social Media Info: Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter: @ZubbieCreations) - Навчання та стиль
Man. So so many memories of these figures. To this day, I still own Treebeard and Sauron!
I had to get rid of the rest, but man. The stories I could tell. Each of them has one, and they'll be cherished forever!
This is so awesome.. I remember seeig these toys all over toy stores and never pick a single one of them because back in the day I wasn't that into TLoTR as I am today and I fully regret it
I'm not a big LOTR fan so I completely overlooked all these toys, but watching you go over your figures was actually quite entertaining!
I really don't get action features. Of course, collectors don't care for them, but I'm sure kids would get bored of them really fast. But that Treebeard at the end was amazing! So much went into the production of that. Great piece in your collection!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video! I had Treebeard packed away just because he's so massive so when I put new batteries in him, it was like "Oh yeah, I forgot how cool this guy is!" lol I'd hate to think how much a figure like him would cost today!
You need a Balrog. Awesome figure.
Toybiz did such a great job on these! From a fellow collector you did a fantastic job at describing the highlights of these figures! It was a pleasure listening to your narration👍😎
That Treebeard figure is so cool. I've been eyeing him for a couple months now, but wasn't sure about it. This video sold me on him though. I'm gonna have to pick him up soon.
Treebeard really is an impressive figure! Glad to hear you'll be getting one too 😃
Yeah, he’s one of the few LOTR figures I own and he’s incredibly cool. The paint job and detail are incredible, and he just looks super impressive on the shelf. Recommended for sure.
What a beautiful memories with that figures!! Love it!
thank you 😃
These had come and gone before I started collecting figures. If I had unlimited funds and display space, I'd have started collections of Masters of the Universe Classics, the 25th anniversary G.I. Joes and these Lord of the Rings figures. Thanks for sharing!
The ultimate dream of unlimited funds and display space! 😆 I think I would end up with a toy museum.
That was a fantastic video! Your collection is magnificent and quite huge. I only have 3 figures from LOTR... Gandalf the White (The Two Towers), Saruman the White w/ Eye of Sauron (The Two Towers), and the big Cave Troll. I wish that I had some of those horses... looks like they have great articulation!
They are really great toys. Your collection is amazing ! Boromir is one of my favorite figures, also Gandalf. Love that the made the cape out of real textile. ^^
I also collect them ... but sealed. My last buy was the blue box sauron ... im really happy about that.
Beautiful collection thank you for sharing
Thanks! I appreciate you watching 😄
Thank you for the video. I loved it
Whoa, these are super detailed and awesome. Also, I really like how this video is filmed and edited
Love the Books. Enjoyed the Animated and Live action movies.. Played the Roleplaying games and the Board Games.. Always wanted to collect the Figures and have not.!! Great to See your Passion for these.!!
I haven't ever played any role playing Lord of the Rings games, but I have a few of the board games. I'm a big fan of board games in general. 🙂
What a really great collection. The horses are amazing and Tree beard figure is so great. Very cool collection.
Thanks! Treebeard really is pretty unique! Can you image how much a figure like that would cost in today's market? On second thought, I don't even want to think about it. lol
Amazing video. Thank you for sharing. I want to start collecting those figures How I wish I could find them in stores
Great collection Zubbie! LOTR is my favorite movie franchise by far as well as my favorite toyline! I hope with Amazon getting the rights to do a series in the next few years, we somehow get new action figures! Fingers crossed! ^^
Yes! I'd love new a new toy line too! 😄 I'd prefer if a new line stays in the 6 inch scale so it works with the older action figures too.
Zubbie 6 inches is my favorite as well, but I'll take what I can get ^^. Thanks for the video!
nice collection i just have Aragorn but its a good collection
Sauron was my favourite one😏 £32.99 2002 but i was working so had doller ..
I don't have any of these figures, but I always wanted them. I loved all the accessories and armor. It's too bad about the back buttons. Squeezeylegs all the way. That Treebeard was awesome. I'd never seen it before.
Haha, I'm also on team Squeezy Legs 😂 I'm not a fan of the giant buttons on a few them, but the mounted orc's is especially prominent.
Love it was Great
I'm not even a lord of the rings fan. but I still checked this out because I like you're videos & always watch just saying.
Thanks Bill! That's so nice of you to check out my video any way 😊
figure gimmicks are awesome! They were hella big in the 90s too lol !
Hey, that's a great point about the action gimmicks being big in the 90s as well. Most of my larger Lion King figures from the 90s all have some kind of button that moves either a leg or a jaw.
Yeah im a 90s kid and was brought up with marvels gimmick action figures! I remember owning the punisher with the caps on his back! lol
A wizard should know better 😡
Love that line 😏
Awsome collection. Loved the Lord of rings movies
Thanks! I love the movies too. 😃
Me too. I've just started on the books.
Oh no ! Not the slightly stabbing arm!
It's gonna get you! *wiggle wiggle* Oh noes
Damn, didn't even know you had a collection of LOTR! Always admired the Tree beard figure, looks so neat! I have all three movies on DVD but I still haven't watched them.. PROBABLY should get around to that soon! Great vid Zub! Hoping I can contribute this month!
I'm going to lock you in your house until you watch those movies. 😝
I think you'll like them. They're like Star Wars but without all the space stuff and you know...a completely different plot. But they come in 3s. See? Completely like Star Wars. 😂
That is cool and amazing
Thanks!
Fun Fact: Arwen's horse is called Asfaloth.
Oh cool. I had no idea you had a LOTR collection!
Yep! I used to have them all standing on the top shelf of my desk at home.
Noooooo I was late I couldn't say yay new vid rip well good vid and the lord of the rings figures are so neat
Thanks!
Awesome collection I have a ton of the burger king ones in storage unopen from the plastic bag :) if you remember them which all connected they have the ring with the fire in the middle that lights up
Surprisingly, I didn't collect all the Burger King toys. That's awesome you have the full set!
I did get the set of 4 drinking glasses/goblets Burger King sold. I think they made Frodo, Gandalf, Arwen, and Aragorn.
Zubbie I have extras too I got em in a box since that's when the movies first came out and my uncle got it from burger king.
Also nice!! That's awesome :) I remember too they did sell the glass cups from Shrek as well
I purchased the ring wraith and he doesn’t have a head because it uses shadows as his face, however you don’t even notice until you shine light on him.
Funny, before I watched your video, I had plans to collect Lord of the Rings toys. I love Lord of the Rings. It's one of my favorite book/movie franchises. Besides comics, I really enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy novels and J.R.R. Tolkien is a fine author.
Did you ever watch the Hobbit animated film in school? I remember we watched that a few times on "Fun Film Fridays" and Gollum and the spiders were always so creepy. That was my first exposure to J.R.R. Tolkien's world.
Unfortunately no. I do plan to buy the dvds.
Oh man, you have to watch the animated Hobbit movie! It's a classic.
I plan to. And I am so excited for the Lord of the Rings tv show. It's a big universe much like comics and Star Wars.
Nice video as always zubbie keep up the good work
Thanks! 😊
Zubbie np
But it is so so so good
I'm... I'm so jealous. I've been a fan of LotR for years, but I missed all the hype for it and to be honest these figures seems monstrously expensive enough that my parents wouldn't have ever bought them for me. Damn.
I think these were $7.99 in stores, with the exception of the really big figures. Sorry to hear you didn't get any of them back then, but the good news is they haven't gone up in price too much so it's never too late. 😉
Wow, I'm really surprised! I'm pretty sure figures as nice as these would be at least $15.99 a piece now. Which is... a depressing thought.
Man, I loved this figures when I was a kid.
I remember having the cave troll and accidentally jabbing my side with his foot, hurt so bad.
And the arrows could actually be fired from the bow with some distance to them.
These toys were the bomb.
There's a return of the king witchking that Toybiz I've always regretted not getting. Wonder if the new series with get some figures.
I was wondering about a new toy line too! If they do make one, it would be nice if they were in the same scale as these older figures. I'm not sure which company I'd want to make them. Hopefully it's not Mattel. I haven't been too impressed with their action figures.
+Zubbie Yeah. Though honestly Mattel's DC figures seem to be their least impressive offerings. Are these in Legends scale?
7:27 i got 2 of them + sound
Always leave it to Toy Biz to make some great stuff.
Or at least mostly great stuff.
Haha, yeah there are a few Marvel Ladies by ToyBiz that aren't so great. But overall I think ToyBiz made some wonderful figures in their time.
Fluff 女吧宝lb
I still own some of these and the Fell Beast. Trouble with the latter is that ToyBiz made him slightly undersized compared to the Ringwraith that came with him which is understandable knowing the creature’s size in the movies.
That is the reason why I dont buy it.
@@tahaberk6231 Works poorly with the ToyBiz scale. However, it’s great for 4 inch scale figures. I used to make my Darth Vader ride this thing.
frodo is keeping one eye on the ring and one eye on sam
As he should! That Sam is always dropping eaves despite him claiming otherwise.
Why Legolas has the Theoden's sword on 3:33?! Nice collection, sorry for this nitpicking... haha
In love with Treebeard!
Hello where can I find middle earth figures on the internet?
I used to have all of these as a kid but they're probably all broken
i just started watching ur video and i'm very interested (i subscribe )
....i mean subscribed .................
Glad you're enjoying my videos and thank you for subscribing! 😃
Hi Zubbie. Can you make gas mask for action figure ? Thanks :)
Interesting suggestion! I'm not sure how I'd make that. Maybe sculpt it out of clay with fabric straps? But then there might be problems having the mask fit on more than just the character for which it was sculpted. I'd have to give that some thought. Thank you for the suggestion!
I collect figures of the Lord of the rings you can also make accessories for these
I haven't thought about making accessories for them before. What kind of things do you have in mind?
swords ,shields and armors
What lord of the rings tv show I'm not shore about that
I have not seen any additional news on the Lord of the Rings tv show, only that Amazon has purchased the rights and is going to be working on producing it.
You should send them to heaven that’s what I do with my toys
back when toybiz ruled the action figure spot in the stores these figure were awesome . sadly i had to sell my whole lord of the rings collection ..'like 8 years ago .'' birth of my daughter '' . its kinda funny how things come full circle . cause she collects marvel legends like her dad . lol i miss these figures . but awesome collection zubb . for anyone who needs a laugh..... ua-cam.com/video/rZ1AMSWCw5c/v-deo.html
Thanks! And that's awesome your daughter collects Marvel Legends with you! 😃
I hate action buttons. They can ruin great figures. I'd collect some of the Non-Legends Marvel figures if they didn't have buttons.
Did you like the action features as a kid? I never did because it meant those figures couldn't move freely how I wanted them to. It always annoyed me when they couldn't bend their legs or sit down because of some action gimmick.
Zubbie I didn't like it for the same reasons. why have a button for punching, when I can do that myself?
I can't say that I liked it even as a kid. I never saw the point of most action buttons/levers for actions if the figure had articulation, of it you could easily just move the figure yourself. I don't need the toy to do the punching for me. Missile action, was pretty much the only one that ever made any sense, if done correctly. Like my Code Red (Iron Kong) figure. They worked the button into the actual figure, to the point that I couldn't find it at first. Other honorable mentions for useless actions would be light effects that have no reason, or take away from the look of the figure. Also, that annoying water squirting action that some 90s toys had.
