To be honest I don't think SM is the one who has problem with YG, it's quite the opposite. I remember during Winner really really promotions , SM gave them one of their halls to hold a fan meeting and a press conference because YG fu*ked something or didn't prepare their promotion that well , also I think their relationship was affected by fanwars
Dara is not new with having interaction with other idols or from the other entertainment/agency. She's even talking loudly about having interaction to the other artists without a problem. I think only the fans thinking the YG and SM is in rivalry because they are in Big 3 and all the songs that release by both agency are known and some fans keep comparing their achievements.
I think YG is stricter than SM when it comes to their who their artists can interact with. They didn't even allow BP to have an interaction with their fellow YG artists
