The finishing on that case is beautiful. The sapphire and how it plays with the colors from the dial is stunning. I like the fact that its 20mm bracelet too, it looks a lot sleeker. and I have to commend you on taking the time and grinding the 1.7mm off, it sure was worth it, and truly well done. On paper the watch should be too big for a 6.5 inch wrist, but in reality it fits you quite well. This is true watch modding, skill, and artistic sense. Well done, great video my friend!
not sure if you guys gives a damn but if you are bored like me atm you can stream pretty much all the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my gf lately :)
I love what you did with the watch! However, I would suggest that you sync another $40 into it and purchase an nh38 movement to remove the ghost position.
Good morning Michele. Good job. I also own a Marine Master 300 in titanium by Proxima which I modified with the inclusion of a Seiko dial. I must say that I am literally in love with this object although I also find it a little excessive in thickness, which is why I would like to proceed with the thinning: I would therefore ask you if it is possible for you to post a video showing how you worked. Thank you in advance. Leonardo
Proxima already make a meteorite dial titanium MM300, flattening the back was cool, I just dont know about putting a seiko brand on a proxima watch or more specifically a marinemaster on an NH35 , my grail MM has a spring drive. Subbed though. Great Chanel
Looks great! By the Widmanstätten pattern this looks like classified as fine octahedrite iron meteorite. Do you know if what you got is Muonionalusta or Gibeon? I assembled a watch lately with a Muonionalusta meteorite. My assembly clip is on my channel. Keep on with your great material!
Probably the best way is to chat directly to him. Usually he don't make custom printed meteorite dials because any lot of dials that he makes is quickly sold out. But worth to try to ask him.
You have to fully disassemble the watch in order to not damage any components. After you have well heated the case with an hairdryer, you have to pry the back plate out with a thin blade. Be careful, you will certainly scratch the case. Don't try to do that if you have not the right tools for re-polish the case back surface afterwards.
@@Mikicomi23 Thanks! Have you seen the method of using golf club grip remover and soaking a watch in a small cup a day or two to remove adhesive from bezel. Do you think this to be a viable option? (I don't have a buffer and it's personal watch so scratches not much of an issue).
So basically remove movement, heat case back, pry off with bezel opener? Is this viable? Would fine grit sandpaper be an option on your opinion? Thx George
@@georgezachariadis2338 Basically yes! Instead of the sandpaper it's better to use a fine flat honing stone ( the ones for sharpening knives) in order to resurface the case back as flat as possible.
Buongiorno Michele. Ottimo lavoro.

Nice Mod Sir but you’ve murdered the Caseback in my opinion and should have left it alone🙈 BGW9 Blue Lume I actually prefer over the Green C3. So where’s the Dial From?
The dial is from "Dial Maker" look for him on Facebook. I had reduced the caseback mainly because I have a small wrist and now I can wear the watch much comfortably.
@@Mikicomi23 you did extremely well - I have the same wrist size, and never liked that cheesy dolphin in the first place. Plus 1.7mm height reduction is fantastic.
The dial and hands are from Dial Maker (look at him on Facebook), the case is directly from the Proxima official website. Anyway are required some modifications to the parts for fitting the dial on the case.
@@zervinlim8709 the chapter ring on the bottom has a step of 28mm of diameter. Usually Seiko dial has a diameter of 28.5mm. So the chapter ring will sit higher on the dial and you won't be able to close the case. For that reason you have make the back of the chapter ring flat by filing down the step (easier way) the chapter ring is made of brass and not much accuracy is required. Otherwise you have to reduce a bit the dial diameter, but you have to be much more accurate for doing a precise work.
@@zervinlim8709 I had reduced the dial diameter on a small lathe. But you can use a sheet 600grt sand paper glued on a flat surface for flattening the back of the chapter ring. Just be careful to apply some paper tape on the visible parts of the chapter ring in order to protect the paint.

Amazin mod dude! Complimenti, I just wanna ask you, where did you order that dial? Thanks.
Great work and an excellent result. How hard was it to shave off the titanium from the bottom?
Not much, first I had used a coarse file by hand, then I flattened with a sharpening stone.

Yes!I but i had to reduce the dial diameter of 0,3mm. The chapter ring would fit on a 28.2mm dial, the meteorite dial was 28.5mm
