Ill admit I was worried with how this episode would turn out, however, they really did crush this song. The chorus and all of the harmonies are gorgeous. Gave me chills!

this sounds horrifying from someone who saw the original heathers on Broadway and west end, this is weirdly better than both versions, the harmonies and solo vocals are fantastic and this IS RIVERDALE the most confusing and out there show ever. Anyway that's just my opinion.
I'm pretty amazed how good this song sounds. Many of the other songs are okay, but this just knocked it out of the park.

Out of all the Heather songs Riverdale did, this is the only one where the singers voices (and acting in the actual scene) conveyed the appropriate amount of emotion the song lyrics call for! I love both the movie and musical of Heathers and this is the only song that they show covered that I have nothing bad to say about and didn't make me cringe with how the scene or choreo played out.
Though I gotta say I liked how they made Our Love is God relate to the cult instead of a romantic thing, that was creepy af and very clever!

Camila is good sometimes, when they choose songs that suit her voice, but damn, why has Veronica sang almost every episode of season 3 , and not Josie (the only character trying to be a singer professionally?)

I love her voice the most out of everyone's too, she fucking killed it in this episode and in Mad World (her voice was much better fit for mad world then Veronica's/Cami's personally). I'm so glad they gave her more songs to sing in this musical episode cause i was so dissapointed when she only got about 30 seconds to sing in each of the songs she was in the Carrie musical episode. i really hope they give her more singing parts now in the show outside of the musical episodes, i would rather listen to her sing than Archie/KJ any day.

I don't understand why they made Cole go so low with his voice, the song sounds fine with a mid ranged voice
the og song JD sings in a lower octave than veronica so im guessing they went off of that (even though this was raised an octave, so idk)
@@savannah9134 At the beginning of the song, he's singing in the same octave as Veronica. Even in the chorus when he starts harmonising, he's still singing in what appears to be mid range. My guess is that Cole probably just has a better lower register and feels more comfortable singing there.
