It touches my heart that you leave these around town. What an awesome gesture of kindness. I use to paint rocks with inspirational quotes etc. on them and leave them around town. Hopefully they brightened someone's day. Bless you!
What a wonderful idea. You are teaching your children kindness & compassion for strangers. We need more ppl like you & your littles in this world. Mary
That is a great idea! Too make these and set them where people can find them in public places I no myself it is the Loneliest time of the year Finding something like this sure would brighten up and make me happy ...... You see I don't have no one to Celebrate the holidays .
Those are beautiful. Leaving them for someone to find is such a sweet sentiment. They could also be taken to a homeless shelter. Thanks for sharing your time and making beautiful diys and sharing great ideas to help someone else. Have a very blessed day.
I like your idea of taking these somewhere specific. Another place where they would be greatly appreciated would be a nursing home for the elderly. More often than not, they don't have many visitors.
Even as upbeat as i am, i get down during the holidays sometimes. My husband and i never had kids, and we are in our 70s and 80s, so it does get lonely sometimes. Wonderful idea of leaving one of these ornaments with an encouraging note. I know it would uplift the spirits of people.
Hi Amber I think your snowflake ornaments turned out absolutely beautiful. I have my grandkids make ornaments year round then we leave them in different places hoping we can make somebody's day a happier day. God Bless you all.
Amber that is a fantastic idea and I know the person who finds it will not only love the ornament but the message you place inside. It also teaches your littles to care for others. Fantastic craft and terrific caring, sharing idea.
Super cute. I used to carry Christmas ornaments I made and would pass them out to waitresses or cashiers. They seem to really appreciate it. I even gave some to very well behaved children.
This is the sweetest idea for you to make ornaments and leave them around for people to find. I made one of these before and yours looks even better than mine. Thanks for sharing.
So pretty! I love these gor gift tags on presents. Thank you for teaching your littles to be compassionate and caring. There is not enough of it in the world. I know it would make me smile and brighten my day🤗
Love. Love your idea of leaving a “care about you” (as opposed to the ordinary care) package for someone to find. The randomness of it would be even more effective to a lonely or hurting person. And what a good life lesson you are teaching the little ones. We have left packages anonymously on porches before but this is even better. Everyone needs to know there IS ALWAYS HOPE
I love making these clothespin snowflakes. I hadn't thought of putting the plastic snowflakes on them. I like that. I usually put the "gem stones/rhinestones " on them. LOVE the idea of leaving them to cheer up people.
It made me feel better just watching your video. I love snowflakes and these are so pretty. Thank you, Amber, for sharing love and kindness. You never know when such a small gesture will make difference to someone in emotional pain and distress. God bless you.
What a thoughtful and selfless act of kindness🙏You have just made my day, and given me a fantastic idea❣️Thank you so very much🌺Sending lots of crafty hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Wonderful thoughtful gesture !!! And what a wonderful lesson for the Littles !!!! They are never to young to learn compassion !! Thank you Amber for your thoughtfulness !! God bless and MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!
Such a fun and easy decoration. ❤❤ Love your idea of just setting out these decorations with a note of hope. Such a thoughtful way to help others who may be thinking of the unthinkable. I crocheted a bunch of scarves one year and donated them for the homeless. It made me feel so good knowing I might be able to provide warmth to someone less fortunate. Happy Holidays ❤🎄❤
What a thoughtful thing to do!! And those snowflakes are adorable! Here in PA, a lot of people paint smooth rocks with uplifting words on them and leave them in various places.
Southern Girl..you always inspired me. Thank you for all your creations. Thank you for the story of the man who wanted to die. Lydia Johnson from Chicago
Love the snowflakes going to make some to put all over my door will be so cute and I love your idea of helping people feel better you are very SPECIAL love to y’all 🌲❄️☃️
I love these snowflakes! I also love your idea of leaving them around for others to find! We leave painted rocks around our little town, but I think I need to do this for a change. Thanks for sharing your ideas and talent. 💕
I got a little emotional when you mentioned you would leave these around different places in town. What a nice idea. I absolutely love these special snowflakes and am going to make some for next year. Thanks for sharing your projects with us. Doing crafts takes my mind off of things,"God Bless"
I like your clothespin snowflakes, but I love, n I have tears, bc of what you do with leaving ornaments n notes for people. It means alot must amber as you explained, sometime just a wave or smile will bring a person back. Love you
I LOVE that idea Amber!!! It's really beautiful & fits the season so well, Love & Kindness to our fellow man!!! You are such a sweet person. I feel like I'm learning more from you than crafting! Thanks for such a special idea to spread joy or a ray of hope to someone!
Amber you have a heart of gold and your littles will remember these things always and no doubt have the same heart! These ornaments are beautiful and will undoubtably bring a smile to many faces! I love this idea and will be making these to leave around my little rural area with hopes of bringing smiles here in Tennessee. Thank you so much for sharing so many things with the UA-cam community. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
I absolutely loved the story of someone needing to know that there's someone thinking of them this holiday season. Were going to make these snowflakes this weekend and set them out at our local park.
You are such and awesome person and have a beautiful and caring heart and soul. No wonder God gave you the ability to craft such beautiful craft of unending beauty. You brought tears to my eyes. This Christmas will be the third Christmas without my precious Mother-in-law, the second without my Husband and my son's Dad and the second without my Son's Best friend who was like a son and grandson to our family. They all passed away in a six month period. That was the hardest six month my son and I have ever encountered. The aftermath had been like having to walk with cement in our shoes to get through each passing day. December 11, Wednesday, (My mother-in-law), will begin that memory all over. January 30, my son's best friend died in a car accident 21 y/o. June 07, my husband die of heart attack in front of me in the ER. I screamed for help. They moved him the trauma room. Worked on him for almost an hour never got his heart rate back. I called my son and other family and friends 75 people showed up with 3 pastors. My husband was 52 y/o. We never know when God will call us home. My husband was a Christian man and looked out for the elderly in the community. He always gave the vegetables from our garden and helped them in any way he could. If a young family was in need, he also provided them with food and clothing. We delivered many a boxes of non perishable foods to families in need. It is a shame that you have to be approved and have to wait before some food can be given to a family. This passed week, a young mother and her baby was at the store near my house, and she needed help. She and the baby had walked to the store in the cold looking to see if someone could help them. The baby needed her milk from WIC which was 20 miles away. I told her I would help, but we need a car seat. Drove half a mile back to where she lived. Got the car seat. Got her some food to eat and got the baby's formula. I got her some bread, mayonnaise, cheese, big pre-Cooked ham pre-sliced. Next day I got more food and too. Some hot vegetables beef soup and crackers. Life is about helping others in need or helping lift someone's feelings and emotions.
Awesome. Love them. When you glue the first ones together they look like little people. I made clothesepin angels one year, but bought the kind that have no spring in them. They turned out cute I like your idea to cheer people up. We need more loving people in this world.
So beautiful, hard to believe these are clothespins. Great idea for blessing someone or make several and pass them out at Senior Citizens center. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
What a wonderful surprise for sharing. I will be making some to play it forward. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family. Merry Christmas from North Carolina 🎄❤️
Such a beautiful gesture u and ur family r going to do..u have such a good heart..not only teaching us but ur family also..we so need more people like u in this world of ours..god bless u and ur family..love ur snowflake idea..tyfs♡
I really love the idea of putting these in a baggie with a note saying you are loved. I have so many things I have made and don't really have room for but I wanted to see if I could do them and what they would look like when I was done plus my crafts are such a great stress releaver lol. I am going to do the same as you and put them in a baggie with a note and leave somewhere to hopefully put a smile on someone's face. Thank you so much for the idea. I hope you have an awesome Christmas
For rustic tree I made these but stained the wood. Glued 4 together then between the 4 glued 4 more (one layer). Also did some that were 5 pieces glue together, made a template to help with placement. Made different sizes of clothespins (one layer) then glued together on the larger one a smaller one on both sides. Also before gluing drilled a small hole at the end so a hanger could be placed (was making to donate and had to have them wired on the tree). Hanger removed so a gold wire could be used to attach to tree. Lots of fun and many different ways of making these. Thanks.
I Love It! And thank you for the kindness. your right you never know when someone needs a kind word. Love your videos, I always look forward to your crafty ideas. Have a wonderful Christmas.

This is so cute, I make the crosses with close pins. If you spray your glitter items with hairspray they won't "shed" or get all over.
