Hope they can be of use for some summer projects ❤I just received those happy mail stickers I put on the box so it was fun to use them🤗I use silicone for the hairclips, similation glue which they use often for Decoden projects! Hi Christine! Yes, I absolutely love everything you sent me. You did such a wonderful job packaging everything! 👏 💖 So, the silicone is hot glue or is it something else? You're so creative! I have a glue gun but I'm so afraid of burning myself. I see so many crafters use it. Polly will love the hair bows! They're just soo adooorable!!! Thank you so much my sweet friend. I'll share some of my craft supplies soon. I'm a slowpo cus I have everything out away in plastic bins and I need to go through them. I'll send it out as soon as I can. Hugs 💗 Blessings 🥰
@@mypaperjourney Hi MJ!! Aww I’m so glad!! The silicone is a simulation glue, I do a lot of projects so I buy the silicone from the hardware store (it’s technically the silicone you use for caulking)! And then you can color it or put glitter in it. It hardens after a few hours and is waterproof. A lot of people use it to decorate phone cases, they call it ‘Decoden.’ But I make hair barrettes 😆 You can decorate anything with it: picture frames, containers, etc. it’s pretty fun! But messy lol Aww your so sweet, ite a RAK! Just a little thank you for your kindness and I just love sending happy mail 🤗❤️ hugs!
Oh wow! I would have never thought of using that for crafting! Lol! I use walk plaster that comes in small and big buckets but I get the small one. It lasts for a long time. It's cheaper that the Tim Holtz crating paste and you get more for a lot less. You can add paint or fine glitter too. Hey, I have a fine glitter that I can share with you. Do you use it? I have more than I'll ever use. Let me know and I'll add it to send list. Lol! Hugs 💗
@@mypaperjourney that’s great to know! You have the alternative option to that paste, I really wanted to try that sometime for texture. I try to find alternatives all the time for less expensive items 😆😅 I love sparkle ✨ I use a lot since I do resin and then this silicone craft lol 😂 I can make resin tiny frames too, I think they would look great in your shabby chic projects!! When I have a resin day I’ll make some. It’s a messy craft so I have to be in the ‘mood’ to do it🤗❤️
I bought a couple of small bottles of resin to try it out but as as of yet, I've not attempted to try it out. I like trying new things but I just don't have enough time to craft. Caring for my mother and babysitting my granddaughter keep me busy, not to mention my husband and my two sons that live at home still. I've done polymer clay. Have you? I also have paper clay that my youngest son gifted me and some molds that I've not tried yet, either. Lol! Have you tried the wax seals yet? I think I vaguely remember you have. Correct me if I'm wrong. My brain doesn't work like it used to. Lol! Hugs 💗
