I’m going through a really tough separation from my fiancé and we are both HUGE Potterheads. I thought after she moved out and I was by myself it would difficult to watch anything HP because she’s the one that introduced me to the Potterverse. I had seen the movies and I really enjoyed them but we didn’t just watch the movies we really enjoyed everything about the HP world together. We played Hogwarts Legacy together, we listened to audiobooks of all the books together, we took turns reading the books to our daughter, and we were planning to go to London to the HP attraction. Now it feels like all hope is lost but I’m still here trying my best to continue to enjoy the wonderful world of HP. I will definitely have to put this on the tv with the soundbar and surround sound at bedtime. Thank you 🙏🏼
I'm so sorry, that sounds so difficult. I suggest doing the hard thing of continuing to do as much HP stuff as you want and check in with yourself again in like a month. I watched The Simpsons w/ my dad all through my life until I decided to break off contact about 3 years ago. I LOVE the Simpsons so I continued to try to watch it. And although it was very painful, it started to feel less painful after each time. Now when I watch it, I can mostly just enjoy it. Yes I still do have pangs of hurt when he pops into my head while I'm watching, but I take a deep breath and center myself and give myself lots of compassion, and then I continue on. I believe in you! You can do it!
I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I know you love everything HP, but maybe just take a short break from HP everything, to heal your heart and soul first. You have to take care of you first. Find other things you like to do or try new things, games, photography, or do a little traveling, a new atmosphere always feels good because it’s somewhere else you haven’t been to. And spend time with family and let them give you big long hugs, hugs actually help with emotions we all go through. Things will get better and if you’re still a big HP fan, have your own time collecting merchandise, go to Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure..sorry, I haven’t been there and it’s less than two hours from me at Universal Studios in L.A. and one in Florida. I guess those are the only two. I hope since your comment, you’re doing better! 😁🩷

This is the first time I've ever felt like I've finally set foot in Hogwarts. If I had this in VR I know I'd confuse the times spent roaming these corridors, halls and rooms for memories of places I've actually been in real life. That's the effect Resident Evil 7 had for me, just walking around in that house. I feel like I've been there. This video is incredibly transportive with or without VR, and it's good to see it's been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, which means hundreds of thousands of people have been completely transported to Hogwarts. What a treat for all who find this.

I really felt like I was in the great hall, enjoying the decorations and food and then it was time to sneak to the forbidden forest to collect some potion ingredients... and everything felt magical, spooky but cozy. This has to be my favourite script so far! I can't wait to work on the soundscape and share it with the world! ⚡️

I love the ambiance of Hogwarts so much that I’ve slowly been turning my home into that little by little. Not in a goofy cheap way, but as well done as I can do. I have a Honeydukes corner with a candy trolley completely decked out like in the universal studios candy store, all painted and tricked out the same way with the giant faux ice cream cone display on top. We’re turning our dining room into an old school more cleaned up polished version of the English pubs in the movie because my husband collects spirits. I’m currently doing a bathroom in a prettier version of Borgin and Burkes, very dark academia/gothic with spooky (but not Halloweeny) stuff and haunted gothic art pieces. I want my home to be an experience for people who come in here. Not normal. People were blown away by the elaborate Honeydukes area and they really enjoy picking a treat from the trolley when they visit, which is fully stocked. Thanks for the video, I’m saving this to refer back to for imagery. Beautiful work!
