Princess make by far my favourite boats that I can't afford, out of them all. Their innovation and class are exemplified by this boat. The door into the cockpit sliding down while the TV comes up and revolves and the galley area with the pop up pantry! A good starter boat Nick for when I finally make it as a Bond villain :)
Lovely boat. The disappearing bulkhead between cockpit and saloon is brilliant. Love the layout. There is a surprising amount of space on this boat. Thank you for another well-made tour of a gorgeous boat.
What a fantastic boat this Princess is and only 55 foot. I have to take my hat off to the designers as they have got everything you need in and it doesn't look as if they have scrimped on creature comforts. Another superb video.Thank you for sharing this with us all.
WOW.. this is the best boat I've seen on this channel with the price around 1M.. Clever stuff and amazing design! Great job as always showing details Nick 👍
What a smashing boat! I think Princess have themselves a winner here, outstanding use of space, and obviously, a top drawer build. I am very impressed by the exterior colour scheme. Thanks for your work Nick, great job as per usual.
Brilliant tour yet again. £1.1 million 55 footer... perfect starter boat to self train myself into a master yachtsman!!! Previous experience; dingy1977, canal barge 1992 and too many ferry crossings to list dates! Love this boat👍
I've been binge-watching your channel while staying at home and I got to say, one day I'll buy a boat like this, and the manufacturer has you to thank for it! Whatever boat or size, you really do make sure you know the ins and outs of them all. You can feel the quality of the work you do, and matched with a great personality that's all you'd ever want in a journalist and UA-camr!
Not just your regular princess style and quality, love that their never complacent never failing to be innovative in their ideas, what a kick to be able to work in such a creative environment. Loved the V55 great tour young Nick.😃👍👍
This beauty doesn't just look great but has so many bells and whistles although practical ones. The amount of storage and where it has been put is incredible. Even lighting in the closet! The last 'cabin' was a hidden gem which can be named 'the dog house' for when the other half plays up!!
You are quite right. Very nice looking boat with a great layout and everything you would need, in a 55 ft package, the cabins look great and are spacious, the whole boat with lots of nice details. Very nice indeed.
@@Mr-co4kw Good question, without living on it for a few days, it's hard to know what I would change. One thing that gets me is having a microwave oven instead of a proper oven. It's the one that I always look for in these vids

Very nice boat. I went on the V58 which I think this will replace and was very impressed with the quality and decor of that boat which is saying something as I am a flybridge guy. As always, great video.
Another great feature about a fantastic boat! You've really given me a new interest, Yatchs! Have previously ridden around in a 21 foot floating caravan, but now I SHOULD have a Princess or Galeon between 40 and 50 feet. If I sell everything I own, it should (maybe) be enough for the down payment. So when the kids are hungry and the divorce a fact, at least I know who to blame!
Well done on that tour. Its the first one at any of the shows where covered all the details that is the hallmark of your channel. Its a pity the majority of boat show videos have to be so rushed where its just the layout we get to see. This is a beautiful new boat, how the door is engineered to retract in ingenious, as it the TV setup!
Im not sure if its the yacht itself making me dream of owning a boat like this or nicks ability to make every boat he features seem like its the dream boat. Well done awesome!!
Ahhh your normal complete your. Love it. Also love the yacht. Truly amazing at what you get in a 55. Very well thought out. Perfect for entertaining. If it comes with a water maker then its 100% perfect as is. Great video. Keep up the fantastic job your doing. Now I'm going to check out the 85 that you mentioned. Thankyou
I think I'm in the process of falling in love with the Princess V-series. The way they manage to combine the interior and exterior areas, plus opening side windows and that enormous roof hatch has pretty much rendered fly-bridge boats obsolete for me. Great job as always, can't wait for the next tour! :D
Hi Nick, great video as all of your regulars have come to expect!! Gorgeous boat, fantastic accommodation and spec for around £1m, beautiful, love all those electricically operated gadgets, very nice. The only slight disappointment, I was waiting and daring you to make your way down into the 'crew cabin', to show us around it!! Keep up the very good work, cheers, Peter
Princess do make a nice boat. But all the power gadgets on this one, the drop door and the spinning tv are great. However, the practicality of that hidden pantry is brilliant. I like how they make such an effort to use as much space as possible
I was literally just watching the Motorboat and Yachting’s video on this and was fawning over it as your video notification of this popped up. I thought “yes! Now we get a proper tour! 😆 Haven’t watched the video yet but know I’m going to love it 👍
:) :) A super nice boat Nick, and when you showed the “magic trick” with the tv,and the small pantry electrically coming up from underneath the countertop,I started to think “Swiss army knife” that is a so very cool, and also the way that you could open up all the way from the salon out to the aft deck,so very clever. A very very nice boat.Time to buy some lottery tickets.... :) :) :)
Yet another beauty, and with some very cool stuff! You know what would have been even cooler? To have that TV with screens on both sides. No need for the swivel, and people can watch it from both seating areas :)
Cheered me up when I saw the little dot that indicates a new video. Not disappoited either. no change there. Always great presentation, I would hope you get some success in selling them, maybe not. Thanks again :)
Awesome boat! I'd be interested to see that generator being serviced, or even worse, replaced. I've had a few boats in this size range and I've learned that the generator, out of all the systems, requires the most attention to stay running in new condition.
Princess has really done a superb boat, as usual, and this looks so "easy" to handle. Only problem??? I missing £1m but otherwise a real contender!! :D
I love this Princess V55. Stylistically it's so beautifully appointed externally and ingeniously internally. I just want the Princess brand to go out and design the aft bulkheads drop to make it a better more spacious environment once down. Galeon I think the 560 model does it and has made it feature of adding holes in flooring for two bar stools to be placed in to place on the adjacent area to the galley (port side). And I've seen this done on the dinning side too with pop-up serving area. The side windows would also need to be lowered, also allowing even more of a outside feeling in the saloon area.
These must have sold like hot cakes - as I was in Cala d’Or (Mallorca) mariner today, and saw at least 5 of these! And I can see why they sold so well, beautiful looking boat, and defo on my list, as a seriously “reasonable” price for what you get….. Great walkthrough as always Nick, watched this one a few times :)
You probably wont ever need the crew compartment but still..that cramped bed with a toilet right next to it is quite savage lol..but anyway really a nice value..great clip
Hey Nick I like this as a beginners novice boat owner to learn the ropes...........what do you think?.......it's either Princess or Riva for me...........that's why I've been following you for this reason.....have fun
Without a flybridge it could do with some solar panels and an extended hardtop. So you don't need the generator on a good day out for your fridges and aircon.
Another great video Nick. I usually miss the flybridge on boats like this, but I think they’ve managed to create more usable space on this boat than the flybridge equivalent! I think this is serious competition for the 55 fly. Ps... nice watch!
12:11 LOL!! This is golden! Spectacular ! The pinnacle of crew apartment design! When someone tells me, that he is about to work on the ship as a crew member, I'll give him link to this video. And if you behave nice, maybe guests will throw some leftovers. If couldn't measure disrespect and offence, now you'll be able with that cabin on your ship! Unbelievable cabin :DDD
Were I endowed with the resources to shop for a boat like this, I'd be wearing a poker face during this walk-through, imagining you're the salesman. Then, @4:27, against my wife's plea, I'd yell, "SOLD!". ;-) Love little secret compartments like my 3 yr old does. Cheers, Nick.
Lovely boat and yet another masterful production by your good self Nick. Only one thing I cannot understand with the Princess's, surely they could make an easier access way to both the engine and the spare "crew" / storage space. Just a thought.
They maintain a watertight bulkhead between the engines and main accommodation this way. Could save your life if it floods through the stern gear for any reason
The whole boat is an amazing piece of engineering and design, but that door between the cockpit and cabin is so neatly done. Great tour, thanks!

A very beautiful boat. A lot of space and yacht you get for the size!
Who else was wondering how Nick would fill a 13+ minute video with a 55 footer?
Well done, Nick.
Well done Princess.
