Great video, thanks. Which market has cheaper prices? This Kadıköy market or the market close to Grand Bazaar (you have in PART 1)? I want to know prices for men fake Nike shoes or designer close like Gucci and Burberry? Which market sells better quality products?
Hi. Thank you for that thoughtful question. The most quality dupes can be found in either Mahmut Pasa (MP) (particularly bags) and on the side of the Grand Bazaar (GB). However, the latter is the priciest. Mahmut Pasa is a better choice for quality and reasonable price for the level of quality. The cheapest is in Kadikoy and there are good selections of shoes in there. HOWEVER, the quality of clothings are not as good in MP & GB in general. You just need to really go in details and shop by shop to get a good quality. I hope I answered your question. Let me know if you have other question. Thank you for supporting my channel! EDIT: For shoes - it will be Kadikoy. For jackets and clothing - it will be the side of Grand Bazaar (meaning NOT inside). For bags - Mahmut Pasa , Grand Bazaar in that order. Again, cheapest (for lower quality) - it will be Kadikoy.
@@cityscapewalk Thank you for the good answer. Hopefully I can visit Istanbul for the first time in May. Where you advise me to get a hotel? In which area? I am not looking for night life or clubbing, so Taksim is not for me. In which area should I get a hotel room? I am a man traveling alone.
@@n.a.6397 I am glad that you are satisfied with my answer. As for the location of the hotel, we stayed in the old part of Istanbul - Sultanahmet - this is close to almost all of the popular landmarks, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque (under repair), Basilica Cistern (under repair, fyi), Grand Bazaar, Spice Market, Eminonou, Bosphorus cruise, etc. They have many great restaurants and things that a tourist might be looking. They are particularly safe area. Hoping that you find my response helpful! Good luck to your upcoming trip.
