the part of my soul is my box my box is my soul always gets me
i cried at that hahahahahha
i need to find that movie somewhere!!!
If this series taught me anything, it's that we should really appreciate Hollywood...
Why
@@kamtarbol cus they have Great moview
As a South African, while Africa produces tons of films a year, I think the rest of Africa should take a page from our book at least- if not from Europe or Hollywood- and realize that quantity and quality aren't the same thing.
my box is my soul...
i will forever be grateful for my parents teaching me basic understandings of norwegian :D
Nice where do you live?
thank you for the subs tvnorge, finnaly!
i just want to watch Boxeera. "My box is my soul and my soul is my box" hahahahah
I'm from Switzerland and do speak 3 languages so I'm kind of multilingual too. But not every one is learning norwegian now so it would be kind of convenient if there would be english subtitles. But I do understand parts of the show, because its a germanic language too.
It's so hard to say how much of this is true and how much is actually a joke.... (a brilliant joke)
its like a revers version borat. xD
I love them. The most talanted Norwegian brothers of all times. My heart is melting...
I'm studying Norwegian and I'm using TVNorge's videos as listening comprehension practice. Quit complaining, it's not their job to cater to you if you can't be bothered to acquire a skill like understanding Norwegian. I'm glad I understand it pretty alright now and I can reap the benefits of my work by understanding what you guys can't :)
TVNorge is a Norwegian TV channel. I don't think its only 1 person wish is posting all these videos.
where can i find this movie?
For english subtitles for Ylvis' videos, search for "Ylvis Facebookies" in youtube. Its a great channel
I'll be honest, I can't understand why that would upset anyone. Adding subtitles wouldn't hurt "our" (whose is it, did you say?) show in any way, and on UA-cam you can easily put subtitles in different languages so you can choose yourself.
I'm Norwegian btw.
These two guys are so damn funny. Love your comedy videos!
Love my Norwegian Boys!!!!! How do I buy the movie?
I wish the audio was clearer. There's such a large english speaking audience subbed to this channel now, and they speak english a lot here. Or at least put english subtitles as annotations.
Cant believe i didnt find this sooner...this is funny as hell
I really like Ylvis! Good videos! :D
Haha, I just went back and looked and you are so right! His face is solid wtf the whole time - except for when Vegard is nearly hit and he smiles, lol.
No, I mean the most spoken dialect in Norway is the Oslo and Osloish one, so if you want to learn Norwegian (except if you're specificly fascinated by western norwegian dialects) you should listen to the Oslo one.
But this is TVNorge (TVNorway), a norwegian TV channel. This was on TV, and they just have a youtube channel for people norwegian people to watch if they didn't see the episode or just watch again. Subtitle would just be annoying on TV. They could put it on the youtube videos, but subscribers are not where they make money. They make their money on the actual channel in Norway.
I don't mind them putting subtitles on, I just don't think they will.
There are English subtitles now :3
If you simply do a UA-cam search for 'Ylvis English sub', you'll get a list of subtitled Ylvis videos. It's not that hard.
But yes - tvnorge should have done it themselves as well at this point.
Its made for norwegian TV not UA-cam
That made slightly more sense than what I thought I heard. "My soul is my box, and my box is my son" :p
wow, amazing that norway only makes 18 movies a year but still manage to make the most sansational movies of all time, like max manus and kon tiki, same like sports in nroway, only 5 million people but is 4th place in most olympic medals
Where are the subs? These guys are so great, I want to watch all their stuff!
Godd jul
But the audience is now global. I would say thats wider than Norway alone. It makes sense to start providing options to international viewers. English is the most commonly spoken language in the world, and I would watch a lot more of their stuff if their were English subtitles.
TVNorge please do English subtitles sometime...if I have to I'll learn Norwegian but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Make English subs
Yes exactly, the most spoken. Most Norwegians I know are Bergensere so it makes sense why I want to listen to this.
Anyway no dialect is better or worse for language learning than the other and learning to listen and appreciate various dialects instead of just catering to the "main" or "standard" dialect is healthy.
how do i put the subtitles? i used to know but i cant find the button
My box has always been my soul.
Jeg elsker Ylvingen jeg kommer og fra Bergen
Yeah you guys will be more famous if its in English.. Love the music videos
Yea, english subtitles please.
please add subtitles
I am from norway,eg elskar Noreg!
love these guys, and I think its brilliant idea for a show. I get that norwegian people are proud and that maybe it would be fair for me to take half year of my time to learn norwegian...
but I still hope it wouldn't come to that :)
and by the way, if this channel won't do subs, then maybe someone else will... I believe that tvnorge deserve these views more than ayone.. and they just have to take them :)
We want English subtitles!
oh wow that's exciting
I think what Rytis is advising is quite good tbh, I mean, they want to make money right? And the English market is a lot larger than the Norwegian market. It's a good opportunity for them to make a breakthrough. Plus it also brings pride for Norwegians as a whole!
this is amazing
We do. Just give it time, making these notes is hard as hell.
its nice that as a german i get at least half of the norwegian haha :P
Glad to be a Swede, no problem at all understanding this...if they were to speak Danish on the other hand...thats a different story :p
It's like saying this delicious piece of pie is made only for people who are not in diet.
I am in diet and I still want this pie!
Haha so funny. i love the aprt where he said "de lunte scrues boh la"
English subs please?
Amen. Though subtitles would be helpful for learners too. But either way, foreigners are not their target audience.
seriously, you should put english subs on, since youre audience now is quite wider then before
where are the English subtitles?
Men Bård... Hovedstaden er jo Dodoma!
I agree with both of you, and plan to follow your advice. I'd refer you to another Ylvis video but my 500 likes have been relatively superceded by more recent comments about The Fox. I had over 500 for a claim that I would learn Norwegian just for Ylvis. I plan to purchase a book hopefully this week or next, depending on the availability of Korean books on Norwegian.
they speak a Bergen dialect tho, which uses some words and a bit of a sentence structure different to most of Norway, native Norwegians comprehend this very well but it might not be the best if you want to learn typical Norwegian.
hi all right, l m your fan
Im watching your videos now, all of them... and I can't understand everything. I speak german, english, and spanish... so I can just understand a little bit :(
Soundguys name is Øyvind Rydland
They only ask for subtitles, not for us to make everything in English.
"my soul is my box and my box is my soul." lol
You should put subtitles, you would have more public (many in France I think) :)
Wow wish i was Norwegian these guys seem funny D:
Reminds me of "famous in Kirgysistan (sorry if I spelt it wrong)
OMG Tanzanian cinema ... OP :O
Someone HAS gone to the trouble of adding English subtitles to this, it's here: /watch?v=ZCoTX94e0ks
Enjoy.
Guys use English captions it subs it perfectly.
true that
Veldig bra.
duuh most coommon language in duuh wuurld is da CHAAA-neez!
I just understand the english parts BUT I love Ylvis
What language is this?
Sant so sant
Ikr

Når trodde hele sverige det da?
I understand nothing of what you say but oh well THAT WAS FUNNY!
Going to translate this now :) In some hours it will be up on my channel :) Hopefully
I don't understand a word. But those two are still cute.
most of it's in English anyway (plus i like the sound of Norwegian... even though i have no idea what they're saying!)
thank god im danish so i understand the most of it loll..
What´s the last name of Øyvind???
Hahaha elsker atvære dansk! Alle de engelske står bare der " hvad siger de?"
is this engrish?
Ha i noticed some things in common too, as I am in my 4th year of German at school. Still confuses me though :D
This is Norwegian though , but Norwegian and Swedish are very related languages so it isn`t hard for a Swede to understand Norwegian.
English subs PLEASE!!! :)
Ylvis I want to meet u u inspire
I'm surprised at how well google translate converted that to Dutch. Probably because dutch is also a Germanic language.
Nummer 56 !
Cool to hear that hah!
Wrong, Mandarin is the most commonly spoken language in the world, but English is the assigned international language.
Den har gått på tv
I will remake this video on my channel and get english subs, don't worry guys
So interesting)
Ser at du ikkje har fulgt med i timen...
#skrivefeil
Haha yes, I'm danish, and for us it's way easier to understand norwegian than swedish :D
