I used to use an Epson ET-2550 ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

So if anyone else is like me.... you just keep clicking past all the lower case letters then the upper case letters start. It makes sense and seems logical enough yet had me stumped for a few minutes!!

Thanks for the setup. Better than the official one! (Hilariously, you suggest removing all the blue tape and you don't remove the piece that is right in the center of view which runs down into the same area as where you install the toner cartridge....) ;-)

Under control panel you will see scanner utility and can add it as scanner mine just auto found the printer as a scanner so when i open the built in windows scanner utility it found it

Sounds like the office breaker is under a lot of load from things plugged in. I don’t know if you have a space heater or anything on the same circuit but usually that just means as the printer was booting up it was putting a load on that particular breaker with everything else that is plugged in.
@@ghostlyrich Thank you for your response, today I did a test by connecting the printer to an outlet that is in another room and it worked perfectly, in my office I have many devices such as my PC with a 49-inch ultawide monitor, a 40-inch TV, a laptop, a tv receiver, a blue ray, two sound systems, a sound amplifier among others, when I contacted brother to find out what the problem was, he told me the following: The operating current for the machine while printing is approximately 3.8 Apms. When the machine is warming up it will peak at approximately 9.2 Amps, similarly the machine will meet this peak amperage throughout the printing process. Sometimes this peaking will cause lights to flicker as the power is drawn. You may experience similar light flickering if you plugged a hair dryer or similar appliance into the same electrical outlet. The machine has been approved by Underwriter's Laboratory (UL). Most household circuits are rated at either 15 or 20 Amps. Each device connected to a circuit has an amperage rating. The sum of all devices connected to that circuit should not exceed the amperage for that breaker. If you have questions about the maximum amperage that your electrical circuit can handle, you should consult a qualified electrician. The average power consumption for the machine is listed below: Peak: Approx. 1104 W. Which I did not understand at all since I am not an electrician and if I call just one to come it is $50 CAN plus the time it takes to do the job is $25 CAN per hour, finally I would like to know if I put a higher amperage breaker could solve the problem. @@gregoriomonsalve6284 the problem the upgrading the breaker to say 20 amps is the wire in the walls is only rated for 15 amps. So depending on how many “home runs” have been run into your panel you might be able to split it them up to 2 breakers if not the problem you will have is the electrical that is daisy chained to all the electrical devices is only rated to 15 amps and could potentially cause a fire if upgraded to a 20 amp breaker

I cannot get this printer to turn off from pressing it's power button. All the other buttons works. I press the power button and even it hold down and it does nothing at all. I have to unplug the power cable and it auto turns on when I connect it back to power.
Mine was on the back, where the cord is plugged. You got that large white sticker with the serial number on it then right above there's a smaller sticker with the password. (It's written Pwd which is "password" then well you're password)

I literally didn't put the disc in at all just used the windows scan tool and printer tool to control panel

It is an automatic feeder for single sided documents only. Have to manually flip for double sided documents

Might be defective if the screen isn’t turning off mine goes into a sleep mode but I don’t believe it turns off
If you long press the on off button, it shuts down

Make sure caps and numbers all line up if all else fails try doing a WPS setup. Press the button on router and select the option on your printer
