The way he can blush when Misaki does something is really cute. Normally in shoujo's male leads almost never blush but whenever Misaki approaches him romantically our perverted alien looks such love with his eyes and slightly blushes. I love that about him so much.
The only anime series i find myself periodically going back and rewatching. The humor never stops being funny, the characters are as likable as when i first watched them. Plus, Usui is the greatest fictional troll i've seen xD
What I love all the more is that he genuinely doesn't care about his reputation and what other people, aside from Misaki, think of him. Like when he was talking about maids and how he loves them when that girl was confessing, he really doesn't care. All of that attention goes to Misaki and I am HERE FOR IT!😍😍
I just discovered this anime last week and he’s insanely similar to my ex.. Guys like this exist guys. But please remember not to romanticize someone and see them for ALL that they are. My ex was like Usui, but being that he had a lot of admirers. Guys like this exist, but the girl who’s with these guys has to be a really strong girl to be with the one everyone wants..

Nobuhiko Okamoto can pull off that voice where you can just tell that that's that character even tho he has voiced multiple characters. Maybe not completely but you can tell that this voice is of Usui Takumi which completely differs from Karma Akabane who has lighter and more smug voice which also differs from Bakugo Katsuki or Kurokiba Ryo who are just either loud mouths or just has no care. Not to mention the emotions he brings upon certain scenes where the character is showing his vunerable side. We stan a legend.
Usui is my anime first love. He just has a special place in my heart, i will keep coming back to watch him. I think he's just the perfect Shoujo male lead. Serious yet funny, over protective yet carefree, annoying yet sweet, to me he just checks out everything I need in a guy. So jealous of Misaki.
