I love these analysing style videos. I am very, very early on in my Etsy journey, but your videos are helping me to embrace the now, but to also look to the future and to keep an eye on what works. Anyways, thank you. :)
You mention in some video (I think the etsy mishaps) that there were some illegal keywords. I think that would be a great video on it's own. I read more about it and many seem quite innoffensive so it's good if sellers are aware of these.
Brilliant video! Sadly the tiktokker is right. It's a generalisation of course, but as someone who's been coaching artists and makers privately since about 2011, I can absolutely say many are not only hesitant to run it like a business, they *resent* having to do so. Branding is 'too corporate', profit is a dirty word, advertising is for capitalists and heaven forbid you should remind them having an Etsy shop means they now work in retail 😱 There's two different makers on Etsy; business-minded creatives and creatives with a business. If the latter could just learn how to run their shops properly, there would be a revolution.
mmmm wow great insight and sadly when you put you hand up and say "I am going to run a business" you are consenting to compete, so as times change if you do not adapt you choose to sink but like you say most chose to fall victim instead of taking responsibility
Thanks for sharing your insight! I tried your app but i think its not for me since there is no option to change the currency. My shop is different currency so the expenses are in my currency but the sales and cogs are in usd. But thank you because i had an idea that i should focus on how much my real profit are and not in revenue.
Excellent video ! Thanks for sharing Your insights ! Please share your videos on how to do the research to find the right product/ market fit ? Some UA-camrs say that Etsy is the last place to find trends ,so even if Etsy data tools say that this product does not sell on Etsy but the same kind is killing on Amazon then how to go about it ? Plz share some research tools/videos/ techniques outside of Etsy too .Thanks , much love n support your way ❤
This was a great video! If you're split testing or have one product as a stand-alone but it's also included in a bundle - is there a concern that a customer will buy the same thing twice on accident?
I don’t think so. I had somebody order some products and I realized they were super similar so I messaged them and they said nope I meant to order both. 😀

Do you have any tips on responding to Etsy messages? As I’ve grown I get like 20 messages each day 😩
oh wow thats a good thing, do you use quick replies?
@@EcomHannah I do have an automated message but I never even noticed quick reply 😩 until now. Thank you lol 🙌🏻
@@EcomHannah I think I’ve seen it but I didn’t realize you can create the quick replies first. Thx so much lol
