Hi!! I have a question! I bought this cheap pair of block heels that I REALLLY want to wear but the heel is bendy and wobbly. I thought it would be smart to take 2 long screws and screw them into the heel from the inside of the shoe so that it could make the heel sturdier. Do you think this would work? If yes or no, could you explain why? Thank you in advance!!

Hello mam please give me idea how to convert high heels to block heels please which material is used in block heels please mam .its my sister heels and i want to convert i know it possible but how give me idea please
Question: The heel broke off, now the holes where the screws were are worn out, can i fill them with some sort of adhesive and then i screw the heel back in?
you can use wood glue and balsa wood match sticks, from the long package of candle lighting matches. Shove in the balsa wood from the matches with wood glue, let it dry overnight, and your screws will go back in and hold tightly.
The shape of a shoe/boot upper is designed for the specific angle the heel height creates. For this reason you could replace the heel with one of about the same height. If you want a taller heel you would need to add a platform to the front to equal the added height of your new taller back heel.

So can I use this technique to customize my shoes? Like if I want to add a chunky heel to an unwearable pair of stilettos?
Great question
Yes, but don't try changing the height too much, and avoid using heels where the sole continues down the heel breast.
@@massimookissed1023 thank you so much for this info ❤
Hello can you replace skinny heels with a wedge?
Can I glue the heels on first to keep it from moving around when making the screw holes?
Where can you buy? or how can you make the actual heel?

Where can I buy low ( 1/2” - 1”) square wooden block heels for making slides?
You might ask someone who has leftover pieces of wood and saw it
