As a kiwi hunter got to say that stag crossing the river was something special. Well done to all and excellent cinematography among the best I have seen period
Being from California we dance around using the H word, we call each other outdoorsman so we don’t offend anyone, but this video proves to me that its an absolute honor to be involved with Hunting, I’ve learned more about animals and the environment as well as the absolute necessity of conservation solely due to hunting, my attitude towards all animals have changed. we are all on this planet together and we all need each other, this world is cruel and merciless but also very beautiful. 🙏 great video, thank you!
That is one great peace of filmmaking. Well done guys. It really puts an emphasis on what hunting means to me. It’s primitive, it’s primordial, it’s instinctive, it’s in our DNA!! Well done Adam.
Amazing film. This is exactly why at the age of 35 I became a hunter. Being from SoCal hunting has never been portrayed in a positive light for me. But all those people where wrong. Adam you’re a massive inspiration man and can’t thank you enough for your content, it’s changed my life for the better. I’ve become a hunter a descendant 🙏🏼
Im still here in the IE of socal. To be a hunter here is to be an outcast (like how I've always been, so not much new there for me). Im 26 and I cant get enough of this stuff.
hey buddy. im from socal as well.. 37hrs.. would like to get into hunting but have no clue how to get started. been doing research and pretty complicated. You know of any hunting clubs or groups in the area where I can get some advice? thnks
oldeenglish64 I do not. Check out SCH outdoors forum and ask some questions. Get a bow and look up so local 3D shoots and start networking. Best thing is to get out there and start watching the animals. But hopefully you can find a mentor. I know I couldn’t lol
@@christianmiranda23 Lots of IE folks hunt. You're hanging out with the wrong people. Even OC has a decent hunting population. For IE check out Riverside Archers (club), pick the brains of the guys at Riverside Archery (pro shop) and Turners (chino), and Oranco Bowmen out in Chino. Plenty of bowhunters there.
What an absolutely fantastic vid. Every aspect struck me to the bone. Even the narration. "We're not killers, we're hunters". Absolutely perfect! TYVM!
I will forever remember what you said " We're not killers, We're hunters" such a strong message you've sent.... it's engrave into every fibre of my being.... what you've said made me want to start hunting for big game... not for the sport but for respect the that our ancestor... well said.... God Bless
That scene of the stag crossing that river is unreal. As a hunter you only dream of moments like that. Incredible footage and production. Nature is a beautiful thing to witness, especially when you are working for what you get. Great job man, keep up the great work!
Wow, great film. Just happened across it while scanning UA-cam. The camera work, angles, slomo all well done. Didn’t start bow hunting till later in life but had the opportunity to hunt Red Stag in NZ. You captured it very well, and the reason why we bow hunt.
Wow - the awesome land where I spent the first 30 yrs of my life. I've travelled the world and nothing comes close to NZ. Lovely film lads and beautiful imagery. I don't hunt anymore (I shoot with my camera), but this film sure got the juices flowing. Keep safe! Philip
Watching that stag cross the river just hit different. An instant connection and utmost love and respect in a moment of silence. The moment it stopped in the river and as it twitched you knew the beautiful beast had met its fate - almost like it knew too. An overwhelming experience to watch and i can only imagine the emotions that come over Adam through that journey. The stag didn’t die in vein that’s for sure. So much respect and appreciation.
Beautiful video, makes me proud to be working so hard at this new craft even later in life. There is something very special and humbling about it that you have captured in this film. Well done.
Of all the bowhunters in the world maybe a handful can tell it the way it is like Adam Greentree. Cameron Hanes, Steve Rinella to name a couple. He has an inspiring way to really explain what drives us to push ourselves to bowhunt even under the harshest of conditions. I could sit around a fire and listen to him all night. His passion and drive rubs off in way i could never put into words.
Great film Mr Greentree!! Films like this get me emotional. The respect you have for game is unparalleled. This is something we all should follow as hunters. Keep up the good work my brother!!
Adam & Kimmi!!! Absolutely an amazingly awesome film and great job on the terrific hunt. Keep it rolling strong you two, it will just keep getting better🤙🤙
Awesome film! The experience of hunting is one you can only get from being in Gods country and by doing it. We are all descendants, only the fortunate ones in life will be able to come to understand how amazing that lifestyle truly becomes. Thank you for sharing, well done!
First off...thank you for putting out such a nice film. Props...to Kimmi for getting her first Bowkill. Also high props to the camerateam who followed adam and his partner. And i think adam says it best himself...what a beautiful and peacefull hunt.
What an impressive individual Adam is. Listened to his podcast recently and the last New Zealand trip he explains was very emotional. I love how much respect he has for Aboriginal culture and history, how much respect he has for the animals he hunts, really rate this guy, plus he's an Aussie which helps haha.
I love and appreciate the reverence shown to the animal. I'm not a hunter but this is as it should be. The animal is on equal footing with the hunter...the hunters I know hunt on private land and the deer are used to being fed with deer feeders...like shooting a fish in a fishbowl or they use dogs to run them down. No reverence or respect for the animal or the hunt. I'm glad I saw you on Joe Rogan's podcast. I just watched a video on your trip with your family here in the US. Really enjoy your family dynamics.
Beautiful. I suppose this is what calls every provider to it, it's in our nature. I've just started out, being patient, training shots, got a coach. I owe it to the animal to be accurate. Looking forward to the first experience.
Visually spectacular. You guys have captured a life of a hunter in an amazing short film. The film captivates you from start to finish with its powerful storyline, amazing cinema photography and cleverly edited with a score that made you feel the emotion of a hunter. As a fellow film maker I can appreciate the hard work and effort that has gone into this production. Well done guys.
Awesome, I could almost taste that venison over a smoky fire. The place I hunt in NSW the deer usually aren't up high in the hard country, their down lower in the comfy little gullies with plenty of feed and cover, just how you found those reds were.
Mate best video iv ever seen the time u spend on ur videos is truly amazing it really explaines to people that dont understand bowhunting what it is and why its done awesome.

Here here 👌

So cal can be tough. Get your bow, find your local range and shoot and make friends. You’re correct about the networking.

This is hands down the best hunting film I've ever watched. The shots of the stag in the water are absolutely astonishing
This cinematography is out standing!!

The love and respect that Adam shows for his prey is second to none. You’ve done an amazing job capturing that.
This is incredible. Adam Greentree is the the ideal hunter. This film is a testament to his character and sense of what it means to be a hunter.

Primal Urge "the perfect circle of life involves man" Damn what a perfect way to say it.... You've said it all.....
Not sure how but these films just keep getting better and better! Loved every second.
Great vid. Best production on an Australian made hunting video I have seen. 👍🇦🇺
The respect adam has for the natural law of this planet and the human species is nothing short of inspirational...thanks for the video
Even though I am on the opposite side of the globe but this film truly represents the wide spectrum of emotions I feel while hunting! Great job Adam!
