I was skeptical of this when i first bought it thinking it wouldn't really do as advertised. It Does !!!!!I bought my house start of this year and was clear the lawn had been neglected for some time and was a mess of patchy area's with numerous weeds covering about 80% of the lawn. No joke Evergreen took away about 95 percent of the weeds. It is a bit scary when all the weeded area's go all black and dead. but about 4-5 weeks of recovery and the lawn has bounced right back and is now weed free, no patches & vibrante Green.

It will vary depending on how much you want to apply but my number thing is a bit broken - just set it so it delivers a fine wide spread as you don't want too much on. After a week or so you should see any parts which have been missed so can go over those parts again.

This is a wonderful product and does what is says
However it is difficult to get an even coverage without getting areas of scorching
I have developed a couple of methods which overcomes long recovery after damage and how to avoid it
    1. Within 24 hours after application check the grass for black areas - simply thoroughly water this areas and then surrounding areas for about 10 minutes to dilute the chemicals
This reduces the damage from 6 months to 4 weeks
    2. Using the Miracle Grow watering/mixing spray almost fill the Container with the 4 in 1 and top it up with water - enough for it to dissolve into a liquid
Leave over night and use when you are sure it has been fully dissolved
Switch the unit to water only and give the grass area a good watering
Then switch to the mix and spray long enough to ensure you cover all over
This method reduces the risk of damage and although it takes longer it is gentler

The big problem with the detecting videos is that they often may take 10-20 hours of hunting to pull together a decent video and I'm lucky to get 1-2 hours a couple of times a week.
However I am altering my work schedule to only get collections by couriers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday which will hopefully allow me to get away for some longer sessions -I'm even getting landowners phoning me up and asking when I'm next coming up, lol

I've had times when it has gone black but that's normally either when the moss all dies (and I rake it out) or when I walk on the grass after using the treatment on slightly wet grass or when I put too much treatment on.
Now I only use it late in the day on a dry day then I stay off it for a few days and hope for rain to water it in. I always use a spreader now too since it's easy to add too much.
