I am sure, just as you have special memories stored in your heart made with your children, so does she. I think we all tend sometimes to take things for granted, then regret it when they are gone.
The kitchen for your friend looks amazing and I have those oil bottles I found a Daiso store here near us.
Cherish those memories with your mum. Mine died suddenly when I was nine but I still have memories 58 years later. It is when special events happen I missed her the most like my wedding, children being born and grandchildren born. Oh how she would have loved on them.
Take care my friend and although you will miss your mom, your family at home will be waiting for you. They would have missed their mom as well.

Thank you for your videos. They are very helpful, thoughtful, and healing. After a long day, I'm able to tune in and find comfort and relaxation.
The end hit me harder than usual. While watching this epilogue, I felt my eyes water. My mother is currently living with me. It's not always easy because of the past...but she's my mom. I love her and I want to help. Sometimes I have to remind myself she is her own person, she was figuring it out as she went, and was trying to do the best with her situation and the times.
We take her on trips to create memories and when I see her light up... I see someone I didn't see growing up. Not a "parental figure" but a little girl, happy and joyful. It makes it all worth it.
I'm a little scared to ask her about her dreams. Because I'm afraid I'm part of it, have yet to play my part, or have been a disappointment. One day, when I am a little more confident, I would like to.
Don't hesitate to ask her dreams.
She thinks that her children will be happy just to ask me about her dreams.
She means that her children love and care about me as much as she does.
Don't think that you may have disappointed your parents.

Loved your epilogue. I was recently able to spend four months with my Mom. Challenging to see the changes that time has brought to her, but ,oh, so happy to have that daily time.

You are never too old to graduate. I don't know what options are available in S. Korea, but here in the U.S., we have a GED (high school equivelency diploma); or if it was college, maybe you have community colleges there like we do here, where your Mom could take a class or two (if she wanted to, of course). 처음엔 집을 꾸미는게 도움이 많이 되어 보게 되다가

가끔은 서툴렀던 시간들이 그리워지고 서툴렀던 시간들을 잘 이겨낸 내가 뿌듯하기도 해요~.
일기처럼 써내려간 제 이야기들이 가슴에 와 닿으셨다는 글을 읽으면서 상희님도 살면서 상처를 많이 받았구나..라는 생각을 했어요.

영상보다보니 친정엄마 생각도 나고 미국오기전에 꼭 해드려야지...했었는데 못 지킨 약속들이 떠올랐어요. 엄마랑 둘이 여행갔던 사진들을 인하해드린다고 약속했었는데 그걸 잊고 있었네요. 디지털 카메라와 휴대폰 덕분에 사진은 많이 찍었는데 그약속을 못 지키고 있었네요. 엄마와 단둘이 갔던 첫 해외여행이었는데 처음으로 엄마가 딸이 되고 제가 엄마가 되었던 시간들과 추억들이었어요. 서둘러야겠어요 더 늦기전에 더 후회하기전에...항상 에필로그 보면서 설레이고..마음 촉촉해지고 잠시라도 감성적으로 돌아갈 수 있는 시간이 있어 자꾸 들리고 싶어져요. 따뜻한 영상들 오늘도 너무 감사하고 오늘도 응원합니다♡
