Which way do the plastic washers go? They are cone shaped, so they must have an up/down orientation, but it's never been addressed in the history of the internet.
@@nerivdub8007 So - if the speedo turns on - does that mean the ground wire is already active? Or is there another ground wire you need to connect. I have a loose one floating around but can't figure out where it belongs.

The cone part goes up the screw goes into it. So the flat bottom is on the fuel sender
How to you get current to go to the fuel sending unit?
You connect the ground wire to the back of your speedometer

Just replaced my sender - but speedo reads full.

@@nerivdub8007 I just looked up, I do have two attached. Could this mean the guage is bad or the cable is bad?
