The Starless Sea is also my favorite book of all time! Also, The Magicians TV show is one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Give it six episodes! It’s honestly incredible!
I loved loved Starless Sea and Midnight Circus ❤❤ Good choices for re-reads. I want to re-read them myself sometime as I know there will be things I would have missed first time around and therefore give even more depth to the story.
the throne of glass and crescent city books have the same narrator! i reread them all on audio earlier this year and it was great! i think you’ll enjoy it a lot on audio
I have had The Starless Sea on my bookshelf for years and never picked it up. I’ve honestly lost the interest to pick it up but seeing your eyes light up as you talk about it makes me want to read it again! Also I have read the ACOTAR series and the first two books in the Crescent City series but I haven’t fully gotten into TOG! I read the first book recently and it was meh, like 3 stars but I hear it gets better. So maybe I’ll read them alongside you 😊 I have the whole series thanks to my dad so I have no excuse to not read it 😃
A Little Life is def top on my rereads list and Thrust by Lidia Yuknavitch!! I’ll probably buy the paperback cause my hard cover is swollen with annotations 🤭
I have two "guilty pleasure" series I like to reread - Graveyard Queen by Amanda Stevens and the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. I love rereading books, actually. But haven't read the ones you mentioned. Dune and Hyperion intimidate me 🙈 Off-topic, but I have to say - you look so cute!
Ooooh yes bby, definitely joining you for the Erin Morgenstern books!! And I have alread reread books 1-4 of ToG once, but I am ready for another go through! Also, much as I loved A Little Life, idk if I can handle that book again lol 🤣
Have you ever read Bone Island by Nicole Fiorina? The way you described the last book in this video, how you like getting your heart ripped apart and stomped on from a book lol I swear you will love Bone Island. I couldn't read anything for a few weeks after I finished that book. I needed to process everything I read... took me a while to get into another book after that lol but needless to say I loved it. Curious to see if you'd like it!
The Night Circus is also on my list to reread for the same reason! Plus I'm considering picking up The Martian, Saint Mazie, The Raven Cycle, and A Darker Shade of Magic again because they are all books I've found more in even if I'm just flipping through. I'm also toying with re-reading The Expanse series, because I read up to book 7 when it came out and then just never finished the series...I suppose I could find recaps for them so I can just jump into 8 and 9, but my friends and I could barely keep track of what happened in each book when we were in the thick of it and I don't trust myself. However, I was a chronic re-reader as a kid (like would finish a book and immediately flip back to the beginning) because my access was way more limited, and I have always defined myself that way. But I've realized that in the past five years or so, even as I've consistently hit over 100 books a year, I've only re-read a handful and I'm definitely missing that sort of comfort. So I'm thinking of really taking some time this summer to just go through some of my childhood favorites, which includes anything by Robin McKinley, LM Montgomery, Jane Austen, or Meg Cabot.
Throne of glass audio books have the same narrator as crescent city series. They’re excellent!!! Kingdom of Ash I read & listened at the same time (a lot was going on so I needed to really process it) and it was an exquisite experience
I also really liked Final Strife. Finished Battle Drum, 2nd book in the trilogy, and liked it but not quite as well. Wished I liked Stormlight Archives as much as you did but the 3rd and 4th books dragged for me.
Picked up glow of the everflame by penn cole because of you and I just finished the second book and I’m absolutely in love with this series. On to book three and can’t wait for book four to be released! I’m planning on re-reading TOG this summer as well!!!
There's only 2 books I've ever reread & I doubt there will be any others - The Secret History ( no need to name author) especially love her reading her own book & At Risk ( Alice Hoffman).
I loved The Night Circus so much, tried to listed to The Starless Sea and really didn't enjoy it. I wouldn't suggest the audio to anyone but maybe since you've already read the book you might like the audiobook more than I did. I need to get to A Little Life.
If you enjoyed the narrator for Crescent City, then you will like ToG. It is the same woman. I agree in terms of the covers- I have no idea why they changed them, and made them much worse.
I can’t stand the new tog covers. I had to sell my og hardcovers when I hit some hard times but I couldn’t STAND putting the new Mass covers so i searched long and hard for original acotar and the uk throne of glass covers, the og covers are like 85 a pop now
I'm so glad to hear you still love the Hyperion cantos! Question - has reading this series made you interested in the poetry of John Keats?
I love the Throne of Glass audiobooks!
Yay! I’m excited!
Me too!!! I was hooooooked!
Elizabeth Evans is one of my favorite narrators. She really set the tone of TOG for me.
That makes me excited!

You always make me want to reread Dune! 🧡💙
It’s been the best time!

A Little Life is on my list but I’m so scared. Also LOVE your top! 🖤

Nice book discussion top, I have the same one.
I’ve read all but dune and it’s on my tbr!!
Best wishes with what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories. Happy reading.

Awe I hope you keep loving it! I hated book 3 so much I DNF’d the series 🙈 but fingers crossed it will be better for you
@@BookswithBrittany oh nooo lol I’m now nervous. I’m really hoping that’s not the case for me!

I think all my books are on a constant cycle of being reread, I can't help myself 😂
DUNE!!!

Yes! It would be so confusing on audio for first read
