In this video, we will show how to create a dolly zoom shot with your Hohem gimbal.
A dolly zoom (also known as a Hitchcock shot, Vertigo shot, Jaws effect, or Zolly shot, is an in-camera effect that appears to undermine normal visual perception. The dolly zoom effect can be broken down into three main components: the moving direction of the camera, the dolly speed, and the camera lens' focal length.
We will post a series of this type of video to guide you how to make the most of your hohem gimbal and the hohem Joy App. No matter what gimbal you are using, they are almost the same in the Hohem Joy App.

The quality of my video drops a lot when using the doly zoom. Any idea why? Also it doesn't do a smooth zoom, it jumps as if its switching between 0.5 and 1x.
I dont know if its related but when in video mode on the joy app, if i select 4k - 60fps the video freezes and doesnt work.

the quality of the video might drop because of the phone. You actually need a mobile phone with telephoto lens to achieve no dropping of pixel on your video. The telephoto lens uses optical zoom, actually having a lense to zoom in and out while digital zoom just drops the pixels to get the subject close. Now for the glitch jumping from 0.5 to 1 i really dont know :)
Loving this gimbal. But we need to unlock 4k 60 FPS and lens selection in adroid!

My isteadymobile+ gimble won't connect.
Comprei o guimbal Isteady V2, instalei o aplicativo da Hohem, o guimbal é ótimo, mas o aplicativo não funciona a camera lenta, e da muito leg no vídeo.
Meu celular é o A52s 5g,a câmera original dele é excelente, funciona liso, se alguém puder me dar uma dica de como acertar o aplicativo da Hohem ,eu agradeço muito.
