He's channeling all the anger he has towards spiderman while going through unbearable pain. It's just sad and makes you feel uncomfortable. A perfect scene imo

Dane Dehaan is a amazing actor and deserves more recognition. Nothing will beat the original Spiderman trilogy and James Franco will always be the best Harry Osborn, but I do like the Green Goblin transformation and design scene in this film a bit better. Harry actually turns into a sort of goblin here. His hair becomes matted down with a greenish tint to it, his nails are practically claws, his teeth become messed up fangs, and his skin has the same slight greenish color as his hair.
Harry: "What is all this stuff?" Okay so its the first time he's seen this place up close. Also Harry: Crawls to the suit + glider for stabilisation/healing like he knew it would

@@exdecaptic8841 oh fuck off. Idc about your religion or some old geezer on a cloud
Actually he didnt become stronger or tougher, the spider venom accelerated his disease so pretty he was devolving and the suit kept him going
So basically he would've died right there without the suit because it somehow gives you some type of healing factor.
It made him weaker the spider venom was actually killing him and sped up the disease that is correct.
@miracon000fez Yes very true without the suit he would have died.
What if crawled toward the Dr Oct arms instead?
Doctor Gobtopus
Goctor Goctopus?
Where are the doc arms?
he would've died, cause the tentacles don't have a healing protocol, but it would've been cool
@@neroctopusmess3198 Zombie Oct Goblin
How does he know the suit can heal him??!!
wu Roderick he creates it, in a deleted scene he shows peter the suit
he went through the oscorp files
As @@baconpool5296 said; he most likely went thru the private files of Oscorp. Harry doesn't strikes me as the genius/scientists type.
@@selineboron8203 link?
Rmael the 11th did you not see the scene where he had the private files!
I don't think that I'm the only one who doesn't hate this goblin. I like the idea of making him ugly and creepy looking, this fits goblin if you ask me
They should’ve made him greener
Yeah I for one like him too
0:47 POV you get the COVID-19 vaccine
just imagine william dafoe had this transformation
Green Goblin is like marvel's version of the Joker
good point i did not thought about it before
Lol no
That's Carnage
@@N.R.K.9 Lol yes
@@ic3_115 Joker has a reason to kill Carnage doesen't. Joker and Green Goblin kill to get under the hero's skin and make them suffer.
This green goblin only had a few minutes in the movie , Willem Dafoe had 2 movies to act , despite Dafoe 's masterful acting in the NHW , Dane Dehaan deserved a longer appearance in another movie as a green goblin because he did well in that one , looking crazy , unlike Dafoe who already looks like a sociopath
The music in this scene is sooooo fucking badddasss. Hans Zimmer killed it once again
I wanted that green goblin in no way home.
Imagine if he and Dafoe fought. A battle of two goblins.
@@ryanstauffer119Nah. Dehaan won't survive an angry Peter after he killed his girl
This is basically the opposite of how to do this scene. In Spiderman 1 this kinda scene was more calm and campy and then you got this scene where its just like
*FLASH THE FUCKING LIGHTS! LOUD BLARING MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND! WE NEED TO MAKE THIS SHIT INTENSE AS FUCK! KEEP FLASHING THOSE LIGHTS WE NEED THE AUDIENCE TO HAVE A FUCKING SEIZURE! QUICK CUTS BABY! WHOOOOOOOOO SO INTENSE*
nah i think it was executed fine, they just needed to develop harry better
This made me laugh 😂 well done sir 😂
Agreed. It's important not to include the slightest bit of subtlety.
1:45 harry says eeeeaaaawwgh
The thing is that, willem May have been a better goblin but this transformation scene is better than the old one in my opinion
Going Places Definitely
Yeah, but when he lept towards the glass it was terrifying as a kid
Except for all the flashing lights.
Nah
Logan Walker Yah
i really feel sad that this green goblin wasnt developed well as it was just too underrated and pushed back
This scene straight up gave me chills 🥶
Right? Especially when he powers up the glider
Damn, I like this villain. Even as a human, he's badass and charismatic AF.
Also, it's awesome to mix Young Goblin with Green Goblin to create this terrifying foe. Amazing.
Agreed
Oh yeah :D
I just realized something. This version of the Green Goblin is based on the one from The Ultimate Spider-Man comics.
I love how he just hopped in this highly sophisticated suit and then Boom!...he's the green goblin.
The transformation scene was much more painful and the suit is still my favourite till this day
True dat
I like William Dafoe's PERFORMANCE as Goblin better, but I prefer this Goblin in terms of both aesthetic and backstory. He doesn't have a ridiculous outfit for no apparent reason, just some really cool tech, and his insanity.
Not in the gun arm dude.. Not in the gun arm!!
COULD HAVE SHOT HIM
Now imagine if he would’ve crawled more to the left and straight into the Dock Ock room we would’ve had a whole different 3rd act.
What he crawled into the room right next that instead and went for Venom😊
Nothing will beat the original Spiderman trilogy and James Franco will always be the best Harry Osborn, but I do like the Green Goblin transformation and design scene in this film a bit better.
Harry actually turns into a sort of goblin here. His hair becomes matted down with a greenish tint to it, his nails are practically claws, his teeth become messed up fangs, and his skin has the same slight greenish color as his hair.
Only idiots would hate on this goblin. I agree dafoe is the best goblin but this one is a contender and calling it terrible is just wrong
Best out of 2 isn't really saying much
Dane Dehaan's acting is great here, and the music is perfect. I thought Amazing Spiderman 1 was kind of dumb, but 2 was really enjoyable
Idk why but I love the scenes from 2:32 to 2:37

Back again 1 year later to say this was chillingly awesome.

Gwen: “Why are you so sweaty?”
1:55 that shit always made me wince.
what even happened to him 😭
There are several Peter parkers, but there will always be one green goblin.
Love the music. And this Green Goblin transformation sequence is amazing.
Harry: "What is all this stuff?"
Okay so its the first time he's seen this place up close.
Also Harry: Crawls to the suit + glider for stabilisation/healing like he knew it would
He browsed about the area before he got betrayed by the Oscorp members
He probably said that to be cool
He saw a file of the suit in the oscorp drive
Am I the only one who enjoyed this film? Yeah? Dang...
I loved seeing it in theaters. 😍 It became one of my favorite films of this decade.
This film is my torture device
me loved this movie
DC COMICS MARVEL COMICS I enjoyed it.
Of course not. I didn't just enjoy it. I think it's pretty damn good.
Let’s sing back and appreciate how amazing that acting was. Applause 👏
Besides how much the Green Goblin is not needed in this, I will be honest.. both his suit and the his theme song is f**king awesome.
I love all the Spider-Man trilogies
Gotta love how it magically restyled his hair.
"What is all this?"
"The future"
*Are you sure about that?*
He was wrong
Cross species genetic that’s why it’s called the future they think that cross species genetic and humans can be all in one like octopus and human
Call me a nerd, but at 0:24 that's a guanosine. Except that there is an odd extra nitrogen, perhaps that's the reason it is emphasized with red clolour because it shouldn't be there by default.
You gotta give props to MCU Spidey for setting up a sinister six movie throughout an entire trilogy and ACTUALLY surviving long enough to get to that sinister six movie
Man when I saw this movie my thoughts after finishing it was "This movie is really dark and not in story wise not to me but atmosphere wise". So many dark locations that feel eerie and creepy, So was Electros torture area that rooms was dark, eerie, and creepy.
