Agadmator is my favorite chess UA-camr as well. You may also like Chessbrah, which is Eric Hansen and Aman Hambleton (both GMs), and some friends. They're both Canadian, and both awesome. Among other things, Eric is known for putting a drunk Hikaru Nakamura in a headlock when Hikaru challenged him to a fight at some party (there's a video!). Not to be outdone, Aman also won his fight in Ludwig's Mogul Chessboxing event last year, with a spectacular victory against Lawrence Trent. Believe me, I love Tal and the playstyles of Aleksei Shirov & Dubov, but now that everyone has engine prep, GMs are much better defensively. In classical chess is when this is made most apparent because the last thing you want to do is go into a line where your opponent has considerable # of engine lines. In WCC, these two have spent months with 2nds and computers.
Question about the match: Do FIDE and both players negotiate before the match how the match will be played? Like how many games, numbers of the rest days, what format if they are equal in the end of classical time format,... And also how many hours in classical, increments or no increments, or increments after move X. Did FIDE and both players negotiated this format Agad described at the start of the video? I'm asking because I know Magnus was negotiating with FIDE how the match should be played before he decided he won't play.
No, they don't. FIDE is an organization, and is pretty rigid in their structuring of the rules and tournament play. I think Magnus had problems agreeing with the rules that were very much against him despite being the best player. I believe it was recorded that Fischer had the same/similar problems, and demanded a lot (which might or might not have been reasonable) from tournament organizers because of so.

Hi Antonio, on this event, are both players tested for performance enhancing drugs? Or they just have that plain Hans Moke Niemann tests for electrical devices?
Thumbs up if you agree the classical chess championship should be the "first player to get to six wins", like the 1984 Kasparov-Karpov match. The only way for a fair match, since with a shorter format players are hesitant to play since one loss might mean you lose the entire championship. This is one reason Magnus decided not to defend his title, besides boredom.

A 40 minute analysis of WCC match 2023 between two exceptional candidates towards the World Champion! Agadmator really gives out some quality content for us!! 👍👍👍
Hi Agadmator, can u tell me who are seconds for both these Challengers. Second thing i want to know what is the price money for winner and runner up.
Agadamator please please move the transcript as we cannot see the Board !
i'd like to know about the seconds for Ding & Nepo?
From all these hypothetical lines I forgot what the actual game was
#suggestion the 18th game of the Kasparov/Karpov championship match, Karpov wins with black. A very "nerves of steel" game by Karpov, entertaining as well.
"The D-file might become the Ding file" LOL this is why you're the best, Antonio ♥
How long were you sitting on that joke for, man? That just rolled out like you didn't even think about it.
My guess is, you had that cocked and loaded for MONTHS and you were just waiting to fire it off at the right time. 😂🤣
I am wondering how agad is preparing for video. This is so real quick. May be he started to record after the completely new game 🤣
Agad had more than time to prepare for the video while Ding was out of the chair
@@Talbot157 Ding doing the hoodie guy in the buffet area
@@Talbot157 editor is doing the job i guess
Love the in-depth analysis on this one, well done.
Wish this tournament was played every year
Hi Antonio, on this event, are both players tested for performance enhancing drugs? Or they just have that plain Hans Moke Niemann tests for electrical devices?
Thumbs up if you agree the classical chess championship should be the "first player to get to six wins", like the 1984 Kasparov-Karpov match. The only way for a fair match, since with a shorter format players are hesitant to play since one loss might mean you lose the entire championship. This is one reason Magnus decided not to defend his title, besides boredom.
Hopefully, you'll cover the Women's World Chess Championship as well [coming in July]
Do you know if they bring their own chairs? or is there a selection of chairs to choose from, what are the chair rules? I would like to see them bring chairs from their home countries museums!
What a battle!!!
Really loved this game.
Not all exciting games end in a win.
How to make a training plan for chess Agadmator?
Good game, good comment, it is pleasure to watch such high level chess.
Hey Agad! I think that your microphone is a little too quiet
I feel some change in the audio..... I am not quite sure what it is... But I feel something different in the audio, especially at the start of video "Hello Everyone"
2nd comment: Women's chess
A - Was Kg6 in Dina's 1st GM slaying game in Reykjavik sexism? Like looking down on Dina?
B - Anna Cramling's dad beats Mikhail Tal. #suggestion
C - Philippine women's chess #suggestion - WGM Janelle Frayna, the female Wesley So, upset Georgian GM (really GM not just WGM) Bela Khotenashvili at the 2022 world blitz.
There's a 13-move UNDERPROMOTION puzzle here.

For some reason none of the Philippine channels except Kelvinllovejr even cover this game. LOL. But Janelle did cover the game where e drew against Nemo, so maybe Janelle will cover this game later on.
P.S. Please help get Wesley So on Lex Fridman's podcast. See
