I remember the burgerhaus sign. I used to go to the German American dances there. I ate at the restaurant too several times. They had the best rahmschnitzel
Oh man I can't believe that building is still standing lol. It was old looking when I was there in the 90's. Great video Otis, thanks for sharing buddy. I forward to all your videos. Be blessed brother.
@spearhead3ad: Yup, LOL! This old dilapidated building is still standing... Barely! I'm really surprised that since our military left Hanau in 2008, 11-years ago as of this upload, that this real estate has not been rebuilt and bought or rented by some company or entrepreneurs... It seems like a really good location for business. Especially because it's across the street now from a large shopping complex, reconstructed heavily populated housing areas (old & new argonner), and it's less than a mile from the autobahn. Thanks for stoppin'-by.
I used to stop at the totto lotto stand an buy candy on my way home from school. I used to skip school at Tonys pizza across the street from wolfgang intersection too.
I used to work at Mr. Video from 1988 (apprx.) To 1992. Thank you so much for letting me see that building again and getting to relive some if those memories°°
I was in Budingen 1/1 cav 1997-2000. I spent a lot of time at Pioneer kasserne. Place is totally different. My ex, and daughter's are still there now. Gonna be there in a week to visit. Look forward to seeing the ghost town. We'll grab a beer or 2 brother.
