the fbx converter stopped working on windows in a recent update, I used to rely on it in my workflow integrating ascii fbx motion capture, I'll let you know if I find a solution
I refuse to touch anything autodesk ever again-- getting that thing off my computer was a nightmare, i've had viruses that were easier to purge... there seems to be an online converter, i think it might work just as well

Autodesk doesnt even show up as a .exe, I cant start the thing

for everyone getting problems while installing the converter, run it as admin. apparently windows doesn't recognize the admins permissions anymore
Hello. A way to do this with newer fbx files? New like exported from ue5.2 for example.

The link only contains SDKs. There's no actual converter tool. Where can I download the actual tool?

What part doesn't work for you? I just checked the link, downloaded fresh, and it worked as expected for me.
@@howtuts6591 when i convert it then import it into blender it still says it is an ASCII file
@@Greek.VR15 Make sure you are opening the new converted file not the old one. It will typically be in a new sub folder FBX 2013.
