    Sa sample problem #2 po. Yung path : a-b-f-c-d-e
    Dba po dapat An = 6080-(4)(25)(16)+3(50)^2(16)/4(75)
    2 po yung multiplier nyo sa S^2(t)/(4)(g) dba pd dpt 3 kasi 3 distances po meron yung mga volts. This is my first time learning Steel po sir, base ko lang po yan sa sample nyo po, sobrang linaw kasi explanation kaya dali ko masundan. Salamat po Sir Jun.

      2 lang multiplier since yung failure path na abfcde, vertically straight path na yung distance between c and d,, unlike sa path bf and fc

    Master, hindi na ba ichecheck if yung nakuhang net area is less than sa 0.85Ag sa nscp 2015? Haha just asking

    Sir June, new subscriber here, ask po bakit need mag add ng 3.2mm dun sa diameter ng bolt (Ah) nung kinuha mo ung An? constant ba sya ? allowance?

      JaJa Tads for standard holes, 1.6mm is added for tolerance for punching of holes and 1.6mm tolerance for construction. Converted from 1/8” as per AISC. See STEEL 2 for explanation.

      Adrian Cuello Hi. Block shear is a combination of tension (area normal to force) and shear (area paralell to force). To be discussed soon in STEEL 6
