It’s so great to have you back sending us your uTube videos!! I love how you said to just get out there no matter what and move. You are so motivating to me….i just get up and go walk outside even at night and in the cold and I am always better off for it. Thanks for taking the time to keep inspiring us! 🤗 😊 🤩
I have been in Cabuya, Costa Rica for the holidays and the first thing I did on my return was begin to catch up with your life. I love Arizona! We spent last January there and it was the coldest winter in 20 years! Hope you have better luck.
I remember that cattle smell driving across country back in '88. Gorham NH had a paper mill north of them and it smelled so bad in Gorham. Going to the local McDonald before climbing Mt Washington, we asked the waiter, "How do you stand the smell"? His reply was "What smell"!
You ladies inspire me to hike more and lift weights. Thank you for these fun videos. Last year when you did the Arizona trail, I was camping south east of tuscon, near the trail. I’ve been a solo full timer for 6 years.
Great video, as always :) I'm always impressed by how self-sufficient you guys are and that you're not afraid of troubleshooting and physical work! Loved seeing the Casa Grande area and trails. I've been freezing my butt off here in CS but at least we've had a few sunny, warmer days lately. The holiday season is a tough time for me but I always feel better when I get in some good exercise, especially outside and on the trails. Thanks for continuing to inspire me :-))
Randi and I love watching your videos! The views and the music are so cool, too! Y’all are awesome women! Happy Holidays from us in sunny south Florida! Come on down and we’ll take you to dinner.
Hey girls, its me ! Wanda looks good, and you all look very healthy ! well, Merry Christmas and hope next year is as good as this one for you all. Thank you for a year of great videos, it was the best!
You’re probably out of the Casa Grande area now but sometime when you’re passing through again you should look up some of the Casa Grande Photogrammetric Markers. Not hikes but interesting easy to find info on the web. Great conspiracy theories around them. Also you were probably parked near a dairy. Use to have a lot near Mesa until housing developments moved them to Casa Grande. We use to call that the smell of money, a humorous way to cope. Enjoy your AZ stay.
I stayed at Rover's Roost 2 years ago, this time, and did all the places you did. The Benson Park is my favorite Escapees park! I hope to run into you two sometime. Could be on the AZT ! 😊
We spent our first two winters in AZ right in that area . We have a friend in Maricopa . We hiked some of the same trails. The cattle farms were a deal breaker for us also. Hopefully our paths will cross this winter. Merry Christmas.
Enjoy the holidays and your winter in a warmer climate. Tomorrow I’m getting up to hike in VA below 40 degrees with heavy wind chill. It’s going to be beautiful but mostly I do it because I want to be like you when I grow up 😊
@@debraelainemcdonald27 Yes, it can get a little crazy during the big tent. The month of January is probably the busiest and the most crowded month of the winter out here in Quartsite. You’ll find long lines at the post office, grocery stores with empty shelves. Do you plan to boondock?
@@pupcamper58 Yes boondocking on Plomosa Road. I'm planning to arrive fully stocked with water/groceries. It'll only be a week this time. Am looking at checking out a couple of the AZ LTVAs while we are down there. Are you boondocking?
Hi girls! I love your videos. I know that Casa Grande odor! Years ago, my parents had a park model at one of the senior RV resorts in Casa Grande. When I visited them, I got to experience that suffocating smell. Phew. As you noted, thankfully the odor is not constant. Next month I’m headed to AZ, near the Superstition Mountains. I’ll be on the lookout for you on the trails.
Glad to see you two again after Slovenia. It's too bad the feed farm is making the park smelly, I'm sure the park builders never dreamed that would happen. Nice lookout from the flag but they need a new flag. I suppose it gets tattered pretty quick up there. Are you just roaming around until you plan a new trip? I want to wish you and all your followers a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We are flying to Denver on Christmas to see our granddaughter and be with family. Hope your holiday is great. Take care, be safe.
Woot, coming to my neck of the woods in West Tucson! Gilbert Ray is where my parents like to stay when they visit me. I highly recommend the Brown Mountain Loop trail right over there: a nice 5 mile jaunt over the mountain and back around the base. Let me know if they really have banned dogs there now. :( Most of my hiking is with my dog (and husband too).
Have to add another comment! Absolutely loved the video! You two amaze me. I wish I knew that much about my camper!! But I am about to learn the hard way, my spouse passed away. So it will be me doing everything from now on! Here goes a real life adventure for me!
@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 Thank you, I want you gals to know I have been watching you since as far back as I can remember. Enjoyed asking you questions and getting advice. I love my mountain bike with your help in butt attire. 😂
Call me a country girl, but I don't think cows and horses stink, unless they are being slaughtered. Usually, cows manure smells like wet or fermented grass. Whereas slaughter houses smell like 💩 and death. 😄 I'd much rather smell cows than car exhaust and factory smoke. However, CG has always been a hell hole for us. Bad things always happen to us there. Benson is small. But it's better than Yuma. Go down and check out Sierra Vista. It is a nice little town. Not to big, not too small, and slightly cooler than the rest of Southern AZ.
I’ve been watching you gals for about 4 years, you have inspired me to walk more and be present. Thank you for spreading JOY!
Wowza. Lots of cholla up there.
Happy solstice. ❤

“Stay in shape, or some approximation thereof,” is going in my morning journal! 😂❤
Oh every time you gal’s pop up, stop what I am doing! I gotta see what you are up too now! Exciting….
Greetings from the Olympic Peninsula! Happy holidays! Bright Winter Solstice Blessings! Enjoy your travels ! 💛💛💛
Thank you for taking us along! 🙏💜🙏
Good to see you hiking again, and helping me feel cooler as its sweltering here in Australia 34 to 37C days.
Thank goodness for aircon. Same here in Western Sydney. Hot hot hot
Happy Holidays everyone! 🎄✨💚❤️
Have a wonderful Xmas and New Year ladies. Look forward to more fantastic content next year

That Gila monster had a big healthy fat tail! I worked at Tonto NM one winter and watched researchers work with them. Fascinating!

Love that desert scenery!
I hope to be able to meet you both this winter… the rig looks SO shiney! Beautiful!
I enjoyed this video as much as the others of this year. I wish you a Merry Christmas from Germany!
you gals have been a great inspiration this year, many thanks for all the fantastic videos. cheers to both of you from Toronto !
The vintage signs area reminds me of the movie cars.
Merry Christmas! ❤ Thanks for the tour! Can check CG off the list now, thanks! 😊 On the Washington coast for the winter. Loving it!

I didn’t realize cacti grew so high. Thanks for taking us along.😊❤
Wanda is the perfect name! Hope you have a nice holiday and thanks for the inspiration! 👍😎🇨🇦💫🎄🌵
Try Sundance 1 in Casa Grande. Great park. They have storage also.

Merry Christmas 🎄 I am enjoying Quartzsite AZ this winter. 🌵
Is Quartzite really crazy during the big tent week? My husband and I are headed there for a meetup then and I am not sure how it is going to be.

Lived in Arizona for a few years and often return for vacations; this took me back. Loved that shot of Annette looking up at the flag. Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas!!
We were just at Gilbert Ray CG. So nice there. We loved the Brown Mountain Loop Trail. Happy Holidays!
Best of luck finding a new home for Biggie. I think that’s a good plan.

Casa Grande's got some trail tidying to do. 🚯
