Teaching from Rest is my absolute favorite homeschool book too. So many gold nuggets I shared with my sisters who don’t even homeschool. I read it 3x last year. Love atomic habits too! Can’t wait to check out some of the others you suggest!
Yes my number one is Teaching from rest also!!! Haha! Love all the picks! Yes and when you were talking about wanting to push our children so high in ability sometimes we get mad at them for acting above their age because they’re maturity level does not lineup. It’s funny how we push one thing but then do not want to show up when it is inappropriate. But their children they don’t know that’s why they need their parents. Thanks for sharing!
I have multiple books at the same time!!! A book on Habits Sounds awesome and I can see how a habit building look would help homeschooling!!! I’m not a helicopter mum, it may be as I haven’t carried them so I trusted another woman to carry my kids so I probably have a bit more faith that they won’t get hurt providing that we keep them safe!!! The book whisperer sounds awesome!!! My kids have to ask before they can download and I’ve researched anime do that my daughter can read it!!! I love the 5 love languages book!!!
I also read multiple books at a time. I love literature based education as well. The Read Aloud Revival by Sarah Mackenzie was another book that was life changing for me. Can’t wait to check out Teaching from Rest and some of the others you mentioned. I will say The Call of the Wild and Free inspired me to give homeschool a shot. I didn’t agree with all of it either but so glad I picked it up. Lastly, I love your sweatshirt! Where did you get it? I have several book loving clothing articles as well.

I really felt inspired by The Book Whisperer as well. Thanks for sharing your recommendations.
Oh you read it too? Wasn’t it so good! I just love it.
@@TheHappyHomeschooler Yes, but my poor kids, I was like, “Okay, this book says we need to read 40 books each so let’s get to it!” 😂

It's so good! I'm sure you'll like! For me it was a game-changer.
I’ve got multiple books going too! Several on the table by my reading chair and a bunch on my iPad kindle! Such a great video.
You are such a resourceful mom! 🔥
Have you considered sharing foreign language resources?
We would love to partner with you!
I’d be very interested, thanks for asking.
