Trucker Josh is an Owner Operator running a 2008 Kenworth W900L out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It's got a Cummins ISX Engine. He is in regional open deck division and covers the area of about a 1000 mile+ radius of Winnipeg in both Canada and the USA.

You should get a jetboil with the coffee press. It boils water in a minute. Makes for a great hot coffee.

When I think of Burlington I also think of, aside from Iowa, those in Vermont and in Ontario's Halton Region.
Iv always wondered if owner operators are forced too govern their trucks. I work for a mega carrier out of Winnipeg and i feel like i present more of a danger when im down in the US. I get that it saves fuel but i dont buy that its safer in every sense. I was governed at 100kms but talked my way into getting 105kms so 65mph. I still create backlog which makes other motorists perform dangerous manouvers to get around me in heavy traffic

There is a new Loves just west that is generally cheaper and a lot nicer.
I don't believe the TA is still in Ontario, but there is an IHOP in Belleville now, where the Ten Acres truck stop used to be and a new Petro Pass in Bowmanwille, ON.

Welcome to Iowa and our quarky gas stations, Josh. I think you were at the one in Mt. Pleasant there at the end - it’s a favorite stop of mine between Des Moines and St. Louis. Kum & Go is actually pretty big, in lots of Midwestern states but they’re currently based in Des Moines.

Trails in Albert Lea is an outstanding truck stop. Also, I’ve never understood why Kum and Go is called what it is, that business originated here in Des Moines by a local family, which has now been sold. I’ve always -tongue in cheek- referred to it as “came and went”.

Those big haul truck tires are about $50,000 each so for one truck you're looking at about a third of a million dollars.
