At the time of Jesus, the geographical area which was occupied by the Jews was not called Israel. It was called Judea. In Acts 9:33, Luke talks about the Church "throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria". In Luke 21:21, the Geographical Area is again called Judea. In John 4:47, the Geographical Reference is to Galilee and Judea. In Luke 23:5, the enemies of Jesus stated that He was stirring "up the people all over Judea". Mark also refers to the Geographical Area as Judea (Mark 10:1). In Romans 15:31, Paul refers to "the unbelievers in Judea". In Acts 28:21, when Paul visited a Synagogue in Rome, they stated that they had no communication "from Judea" concerning Paul.
So, the term "Israel" seems not to be used in the New Testament as referring to the Geographical Location occupied by the Jews and in which Jesus lived. Instead, as we see in Hebrews 8:8 and 8:10, the reference is to people of the "House of Israel". In fact, there it is stated that God is making a New Covenant with "the House of Israel". And that would include all of the Jews who stayed in Persia and Babylon after Ezra and Nehemiah led refuges of the Babylon Captivity back to Judea.
So, when Jesus refers to Israel in this verse, he is clearly not referring to the Geographical Location of Judea. He is referring to Israel in its entirety, which had clearly, by that time, spread across Africa, Europe, and Asia. This is clear from Matthew 10:18, where Jesus states that his believers would be brought "before governors and kings as witness to them and to the gentiles". This clearly anticipates a Geographical Area much larger than Judea. And so, this verse does not conflict with the call to preach the Gospel to the Whole World. For Israel has, in fact, been scattered across the whole world.
Every church I have ever attended has completely misconstrued Jesus' ministry and the two economies, not One, that the New Testament embodies. Jesus never ministered to a single Gentile, with the exception of the Lebanese Syrian woman Begging Him to heal her daughter. She may have been a half breed but the scripture doesn't say. Paul's Gospel went to the Gentiles for the heavenly kingdom. The 12 never left their own in Jerusalem Judea.
Jesus also healed a Roman centurion's servant.
The demoniac from Gadarene - history has now proven this was a gentle region.
He also ministered to Samaritans which the Jews looked down upon as half-breeds.
I have two comments on the presentation of this video as seen and heard on UA-cam. First, the speaker should have identified himself as speaking for "Chosen People Ministries to let his listening and viewing audience especially listeners and viewers who are new to the "Ministries" for the first time, and to these videos, and to come to know him. He should have done this verbally, by subscript wording, or both. Second, in regard to the gist of his presentation on "Jesus, Paul, the Gospel, and YOU," it's true that the Gospel or ("Good News") of Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah) was proclaimed as Paul stated in Scripture "... to the Jew first [as "Jehovah's," "Yahweh's," or "Yehovah's" originally chosen people], and also to the Greek [the latter as representing Gentile, or non-Jewish nations]," at Romans Chapter 1: Verse 16. (Partial Bible quote is from the NWT or New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures.)
The first Gentile and his family invited to become one of Yeshua's disciples in 36 C.E. (or the Common Era) was Cornelius, a Roman army officer, (a centurion leading a hundred military troops of the Pretorian Guard or "Italian unit," of Caesar's imperial army); Cornelius was visited by Peter at his home in ancient Caesarea. The apostle Peter (also called Simon, Cephas, and Symeon) was sent by the holy spirit to have Cornelius and his household to be baptized, after accepting Jesus as the promised Messiah, and as being the first convert Gentile to become a disciple. The Biblical Book Acts (of the Apostles) in Chapter 10: Verses 1 and 2 written by the disciple Luke records the events of Cornelius and his household's conversion. Cornelius and his family were said to be well spoken of by both Jews and Gentiles. The video overall, was well presented and very informative.
You never said why to the Jews first??!!!
The United States of America is hidden in this prophecy:
We can know "when" we are on God's prophetic calendar. It is written in the book of 2nd Esdras. Chapter 11 contains a prophecy that describes a line of American presidents, four of whom are still alive, and two of them are being kept until "the end." All of them are old men. "The end" is fast approaching.
Ezra wrote Second Esdras, chapters 11, 12, and 13 many centuries ago, long before the United States existed, yet he accurately describes a line of 15 US presidents starting with Hoover. This 100-year-long prophecy began fulfilling on March 4, 1929. It is now 95% complete. Its perfect fulfillment to this point has established its credibility. Ezra was not guessing.
I have condensed the prophecy into a series of short lessons - my gift to you. Please allow me to guide you through them, step by step, and into understanding. Blessings to you and your loved ones.
