Yes, her two latest albums won Grammys. But When You're Ready, while much less bluegrass, consists of one strong song after another. Now, more than five years since release, it remains a brilliant statement of her musicianship and commitment.
Molly is a great talent in her own right. She is a musician of the highest order. I would just remind her that producers want to produce and in general they tend to over produce. I would say Molly’s music does not need a lot of producing to be great.
A long way on from 'The Tuttles' and it's a pleasure to hear how Molly has progressed over the years into such a talented young lady. Always a pleasure giving her music air play on The Roots Collective radio show.
Molly, I've been following you and AJ from way back in your early days performing together. I feel so lucky to have been doing that and seeing how you've grown musically. You are a true gem, a beautiful soul! Keep on!
Courageous, heroic, genius, music maker from the heart, explosive, kind, and enduring, ...just can’t say enough about Molly and her artistry . So looking forward to this new album!
A star is born! And as a Nashville native, I personally love the 'Nashville' addition to Molly's genius and heart - and the heart definitely shines through in this music, you can feel it. This is exciting and it's helping bring a dimension to the sound that reflects the greatness of those talented and highly skilled people that will bring her songs to so many people. Can't wait to hear the album!
I agree with George Washington! Stay true to your roots......you are so talented, writing, singing, playing ! I had the great pleasure to see you in Manchester (Night and Day Cafe), what a great performance! Here's to a long and wonderful career....DON'T TURN INTO A TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!
Can't wait for her new CD. From what i've heard i know it will be a great CD. She is a great musican. she needs to be put in the spotlight as a artist comming out on her own.Next month her CD on the 5th will be released.
Molly is such a great talent and I look forward to hearing everything she is doing. I loved this clip hearing how she put together the songs and playing the guitar myself I can relate a lot of what she says. I can't wait to hear the entire album and from what I've heard it sounds great!
I just got her new cd. Its way different then the molly i got to know. Her first cd i really liked. I say the new cd is put toghtet well, but not what i am use to. she strayed away from her roots. Hopefully she'll come back home to what we know and love
Some of this sounds fine to me,but some of it has a poppy rock sound that it I'm not going to care for.but Molly needs fan's more her age older people like me aren't going to be there when she get's older, hopefully they like it I've never bought an album that Ryan Has produce except this one, same with the last producer so i haven't cared for some of what they have done but as long as Molly can be heard though the mix there has to be something that people will connect with.
I've bought the album, it's a really good one. But it's not a great one : it's a studio made album, very professionally, and with a clean sound, very classy, that's ok. But you can do so much better... and i guess you know it ! This is a real problem, really, i remenber a video in which Springsteen was recording an album, with the E street band, and, although he was with his own group, i was surprised : he was not "cool" at all, he was silent, tensed. Because you have to go out of your "confort zone", as you say here, but you have also to still remain yourself. This is the problem of "the band". Still listening to you Molly. I whish you will do a tour in Europe (in France !!) one day !!

yup, late beatles albums as examples of overproduction
I'm not too concerned about Molly's vision. The Unstoppable Molly Tuttle!

I would sell my hands to the Robot Devil to play like Molly.

She likes the chilies! Sweet!!
The only problem with Molly is she makes you want to smash your guitar.
So does Meg Williams.
See ya next month at the Ark.
